Can anybody help me?

UPDATE - I'm not sure if this will help guys but when the car is idling it tends to 'miss' and not idle smoothly. Under acceleration the car shakes and is down on power. What could it be? It has been suggested it may be water in the coilpacks from cleaning the engine with the hose, but I cannot check as I do not have the tools required.

Well I joined at the xmas party earlier this month, not sure what I am meant to do next! Just wait, I guess!

Thanks for all your input guys and girls! I recently found pics of my old car which had 20% and it looks hot! Hopefully I can get 20% again if not maybe 15%.

Really? I'll be up for about $1700 in the new year, but I have yet to tell them of recent upgrades done to the car, so premium may be a little higher! I will still compare the two insurers as both have there good points and bad points, and sometimes it may be worthwhile in the end to pay just that little bit more!

Is this still available? Would you post to Sydney?

I was going to take it back to my tuner anyway, just to be safe! I'll take a look at the coilpacks semo, I have one of those manuals that will help me pinpoint exactly where they are as I suck at the whole mechanic thing! Thank you both!

My insurance (Just Cars) is due in early 2006, but after reading through this I will give Shannons a call to see if it will be better to insure with them. From what I have read they seem the better insurer, but they turned me down a couple of years ago when I wasn't an SAU member (only recently joined).

I'm not sure what the problem with my car is, currently it feels as though whenever I accelerate the car is hesitant and does not want to go. About a month ago, I had a Power fc installed and tuned. Other upgrades include HKS T3G turbo (which at the moment is making a slight clicking noise, not sure if it is related, may need high flow?) Hybrid FMIC and GFB Stealth FX BOV set at full plumback. Not sure if this is related but last week I washed the car including the engine bay, could that have caused damage? Car was not driven until yesterday, roughly a week from when it was washed The car was dynoed at over 190 rwkw but seems as though it is not making anywhere near that at the moment! If anyone has any info and/or advise, or further info is required, please let me know. As I do not use the car much due to parking restrictions at work, I am a little annoyed that I have had a few problems with the car. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks Richard

What if I too have the GFB Stealth FX BOV but I have it at 100% plumback? Won't it be the same as standard? Recently had my power fc tuned so wouldn't that have been taken into account? Had the noise for a while but got bored of it, prefer the flutter type sound just wish I could get it!

Would you know what % the windows were tinted at? Chances are they would be pretty close to 15%, or maybe darker? You make a good point, the last thing that I need is 1) to have an accident and 2) to have problems with my insurer! I don't really want to have this problem but it will prevent theives from looking into the car and the possibility of being broken into. Would 35% be able to do that? Obviously not as effectively, but within reason. Thank you all for your input!

Thanks heaps guys! I will probably go for the 15% and stay away from the cops! I will be seeing Greg next week and he will show me some samples but to be honest I was pretty keen on the darker tint. In the end it just seems to be better overall! Once again, Thank you.

Was thinking 15% but don't want to get defected and not sure about night visibility, on the other hand 35% may not be dark enough to keep the heat out and people from looking into the car! Any suggestions and/or pics of recently tinted cars!? Are there any Series 2 R33 GTS-25T recently tinted out there? Any help will be greatly appreciated!!
