  1. CD player is under the traction etc buttons - recessed in somewhat
  2. I am sure the Crash test data will be available ex-USA. I think this was how the v35 was done. I still however think it will be a limited market. Imagine trying to find a 1 year old GTR for sale in Japan, buying it and then importing. There will be huge demand for this and no warranty to boot. I still think the dealer option is the best one. Note the GTR service schedule that runs over 3 years and includes regular finetuning of the engine and transaxle. These costs would be borne by those who go the grey import route....and NISSAN AUS would obviously sting you for not buying through them...
  3. I dont think the GTR will remain standard for long. You can see that 500KW would be easily attainable in light-tune configuration...which would translate to flat 11's and the ability to corner!
  4. unlikely it will ever be brought as a low volume import. factor on the new v37 coupe to be though!
  5. l agree about the DSG thing I reckon a manual would be more fun if not a little slower... but I guess I'll just have to keep the 32 and have the new one aswell.....
  6. hurry the *uck up! I am sat in some dodgy internet cafe...
  7. As we all know, the new GTR will be launched late October. Who would be up for a cruise to celebrate this momentus occasion? Zilla
  8. Hi, Just got the R back from having the tailshaft reconed and rear brakes rekitted etc. I now have a vibration under load (vibrates the mirror)and a constant low frequency hum. any ideas? Could it be an alignment of tailshaft to diff issue? cheers zilla
  9. Anyone have a 350Z auto box or know where I can get one., please PM me.
  10. I think what they are trying to say is that they will choose the specification of the car - ie. 4 spot vs 6 spot brembos, 7spd auto and 6 speed manual (probably both), 480bhp version v530bhp version, carbon panels vs no carbon panels. My feeling is that smoewhere in the middle would be the most appealing...i.e similar to a vspec. I dont know that the base model would be too appealing. *imagines steel wheels, and vinyl interior*
  11. Latest news suggests allowing 120K and a specificiation specifically for Australia. In talking to them, this would mean the car is configured to appeal to the broadest market and also there would be only one model type being brought in.
  12. Everyone, If you are seriously considering one of these, and you have the money, go to your NISSAN dealer and sign up. They are taking expressions of SERIOUS interest. One dealer per state will be appointed. A few applications have already been lodged with WANNEROO NISSAN. I have been told that there will be one model only of GTR to be sold in Australia.
  13. Contact your NISSAN dealer. I have been told that there will be one model on offer for Australia. For those seriously considering one, sign up now.
  14. True, but as a daily driver....I actually prefer my BMW.
