  1. lol yeah, they kinda did... but they spend more time going between cars. but now, i think they'll stay on the line well spotted prae do you have pics of your rolled guards veilsider33? been looking around, its quite expensive to get GTR guards welded onto the rears...
  2. how does that work on the rear? because its an extremely large panel, are you suggesting cut and weld? i know the front isn't much of an issue as its bolt on, but then its really the back which is needed. did anyone notice that black 32 from prestige that just came in with the bolt on flares. http://www.prestigemotorsport.com.au/?/au/...sp?StockID=2528 but it'd take even more effort to fill guards like those. rolling seems like the cheapest and most effective option, but i've never seen a picture or a car with them.
  3. hi guys, i just installed a set of volk c-ultra 3 spokes 10" wide rears with 265's and they tend to poke out a little... i rkn its nice, but if any of u are from melbourne and live around knox, u will know that there is a certain someone who won't appreciate it and defect my car the minute i launch it off the driveway. was wondering what sort of options those of you on the boards have taken when it comes to wide rears? has anyone bolted on guards, flares which look good, or had any sucess with rolling the guards? heres some pics.
  4. yeh guys, i noticed that in autosalon mag they named that as the TRIAL front bar... you'll notice taht if you goto http://www.trial.co.jp/osaka/original/original.htm and click on aero, then compare the r32 and the s15 that the front bar matches the s15, but to fit on the r32.heres a comparison. edit: lol just read back and realised that everyone knew this already. oops. okay, so off topic, i just put some volk c-ultras with 265s on my 32 and they stick out a little bit so im gonna try and look at getting some flares. most front bolt on flares come over to the front bar, has anyone got any experience with these? sorry abt the offtopic, but its not as bad as the dude above asking for the pump and cooler. lol
  5. hey guys, that bodyform TRIAL is a modified version i believe... check out www.trial.co.jp -> products -> aero to me it looks like a custom job with a mix of the s15 trial front and the r32 front. this is an awesome thread tho... long live the sexy r32's...
  6. hey waz, thanks for the props. howz yours coming along? cheers bud. mine's a trial kit... i quite like it in my sig and avatar theres a couple of extra pics.
  7. omg, i luvvv it, red r32's... mmMM i feel like a traitor to my red32 as i never drive it as i always take out my supra.

    got done :(

thanks for that man... i've already done that, but was more looking for peoples experiences or places that they can recommend. they get kind of costly when u go through vicroad's list, and seeing as most of the people on this board are car enthusiasts i figured that some people might have first-hand experience and be able to recommend and help another fellow enthusiast. when you're looknig to get work done on your car i dont think u open the yellow pages and look for "IMPORT WORKSHOP", do you? same principle. you talk to people who have been in similar situations, find out which workshops are good, who charges good rates, has good service, etc... my thought on the objectives of a forum and club was that it was a place to share information with one fellow enthusiasts. sorry if i'm mistaken and sorry for asking people for their advice. not offended, but i always get such replies. and rob, shhh, i swear its the lighting. you still workin at chaddy? i'm there often and see you busily behind the counter with your apron on... lol, look who's the metro! anywayz, if you still work there, i'll swing by sometime and organise picking up my dvd off ya.
  10. hey guys, need info as soon as possible, so i'll make a dedicated thread to it... has anyone had or have an engineers report/certificate made for modifications carried out on their car? if so, any experiences, details or contacts on where and how i can obtain would be much appreciated, cheers guys.

they are seperate. i got fined for power/weight. as well received a defect notice for my engine and mods, that also requires me to provide an engineers certificate to clear.

    got done :(

hey rob, that was a quick reply! nah i got done coz of my non-standard engine... so not only just a defect, but i gotta produce an engineers cert common enough for me, 8am sunday morning on my way to church, cruising 60-70 down stud road, scoresby. usual light traffic around me, i see this crazy silver xr6 cut and chop through the lanes to tail me. next thing i know, lights flashing as i'd just done a drive-by. hmpf! and greeted by everyones favourite officer.

hey guys, finally it happened. got done for power/weight as well as defected. im gonna need an engineers certificate. can anyone recommend a good/cheap and reliable place to get one done? also, with those of you out there who have experienced power/weight, do i just have to pay off the fine and im clear? (that is, just wait till i get another one.) thanks guys. and vic cops :cuss:
  25. hey mate, haha yeh thanks. but i cant seem to find it? is it in the electronics and controllers section? i see several safc2's for sale aroudn the 450 mark, but no safc 1's... i'll keep checking, thanks tho!~
