  1. but if u do manage to fit passengers in the rear, i recommend u put chicks there, coz they love to look up thru the rear hatch and at the stars at night while u drive.
  2. okay oaky a few more interiors, heres the blue LED's... mMMM and yeap, i gotta admit the rear seat interior is poor due to the space, but the stanard rear leather seats are nice and buckety... but still pointless due to the 2mm of legroom... i keep my rear seats down at all times to accommodate for dvd, amp and md stacker... hehehehe... like so...
  3. last interior pic of supra, sorry hehehe. a bit cluttered, but no other interior setup allows u to fit 7 gauges with them all facing the driver and within arms reach.
  4. OMG the supra is interior heaven! EL goodness gotta love putting an aftermarket apexi tacho into stock dash...
  5. complete with defi BF gauges in dash... pity it's only all the american who make awesome road soups... hardly any here
  6. omg did i just read that correctly. i would have to say that the ****pit stlye supra interior is the best interior to be let out of japan. im thinking u feel sour coz u sat in the passenger seat and didn't get to see any of the cluster or dials coz it wraps around the driver. hehe... i absolutely love giving nothing to passengers, i even lock up the glove box. if feels like ur actually driving a car, sitting in it rather than on it. whats not to like about it the interior, stock its beautiful and just divine with gauges, blue led a/c controls, chrome bezel dials, reverse EL and a dvd screen for the passenger. sif this could be outdated...
  7. if you can afford it, go the supra. even hard torque all thru the rev range, bulletproof performance. the jz engine is tops. handling, suprisingly good, the bilsteins in the RZ are tops. you can feel the weight on turning, but simple rigidity mods such as strut bars etc keep the poopra pointing sharp.
  8. they are correct. my skyline is fairly modded, enough to say it would be over the limit, but i have no police trouble because they look at the factory specs. my supra on the other hand is lightly modded, only with filter, exhaust and boost controller, so with or without mods, im game over. i see u live in glenny, close to knox. if u do decide to get a hipo car, dont come down this way. no matter how nicely u drive or how polite u are u will get pulled over here. 1. driving 60kmph on stud rd. got done. 2. reversed out of driveway, went down the street, 10 houses from mine, cold engine doing about 10-15kmph. got done.
  9. haven't read through the whole thread but judging by the title here's my experiences: twin turbo supra: - 3 defect notices including 2 major and 1 minor - required to furnish engineers certificate - 3 power to weight fines - full mcleod epa (all this within two months of owning the vehicle) r32 gts-t skyline: - no defects - no power to weight fines - no epa notices - 5+ police pullovers (i have been driving this car for 2 years) i am on my p's and live 5 minutes around the corner from knox. im just stating the facts and accept the fact that i am willingly driving a car that im not meant to. to the best of my knowledge i am allowed to drive the r32, but not the supra based on the factory specs.
  10. gords, u got a link to that VIN number software>? well i'm dead certain it wasn't a conversion, coz i've got full service history from day one, and its an hcr32 with all the type-m options blah blah and the factory plate states rb20 with 1998cc. but as fatgts-r said, its the engine that has the rb25 cast onto it. and like shan said, i figured that plaquard was compliance BS, but now that i noticed the two match up, im just wondering whats goin on. i noticed that several rb20's have an rb20 stamped onto the cam belt cover but i noticed that several were also blank, mine is blank. im confused
  11. hi guys, just got a few queries about engine codes. the engine codes for the rb20 should read rb20xxxxxxx etc correct? and the similary the rb25's should read rb25xxxxxxx etc correct? because interestingly, my r32 has the engine code rb25xxxxxxx but im dead certain that it is an rb20, due to the orientation of the crossover pipe/bov and the fact that ive driven several rb25's and there is a noticeable difference in torque/power etc... i also have a little plaquard on the underside of my bonnet that states: engine: rb25 displacement: 2498 or close to 2500 i noticed this plaquard a while ago but ignored it thinking it a mistake on compliance. but now that i've realised the engine codes begins with rb25 im beginning to wonder whats going on.... any ideas?
  12. yes yes, true true i was under the impression that try force was the aero series made by trial.
  13. nice nice rezz! ask for cooler pics and you have one on every angle. like ronin and shan said, i removed that vertical support in order to fit the cooler. i used two horizontal homemade supports as you can see. im guessing that your cooler is fit for the 32gts-t right rezz? coz yours is a really a neat install. was unaware that that na's didn't have it? how does the bonnet shut without it? thank roy. but its a trial bar, from japan itself. www.trial.co.jp click on products and aero parts. beware the modified version of the s15 trial bar thats been fit to the r32 that everyone's calling the "trial r32 frontbar" here in aus. posers.
  14. nice install rezz! hey guys, i did mine at home also, but where did u support the top of the cooler? i did mine along the support bar but my cooler isn't perfectly straight rezz do u have any more pics without the front bar on? LOL shan, nice photochop..

    dump pipe

and i know its off topic, but is that your 32 in your sig? coz its tri-force trial!
  16. nice thread. i'm running KYB sr-special jap coilovers with sustec springs, strut bar front and back, dialed off camber on 17" 235/265. i found that going straight to the jap coilovers improved handling alot and the strut bars added ALOT of rigidity to the body of the car. i can't sleep every night, because since my friend about 2 years ago got his dc2 type-r, which he has just upgraded to a jdm-spec dc5 (which i sit in and drive nearly every second day) he has handed my ass to me everywhere except for straight lines. i know i know, fwd vs rwd. they are made for that, esp. the type-r, but i still think they are amazing machines. anyway... funnily enough i drive a supra with the same sus mods, kyb shocks and springs with strut bars and it handles amazing well. except it has major axle tramp so its need or some cradle bushes i think...
  17. interesting u say that coz my friends silvia got broken into and the theif opened the hood and cut all the wires to the engine fuse box and ripped the box out. totally screwed him over as it was an extremely tight carpark behind a cafe, a tow truck couldn't reach it and lets just say, the car sat there for months lol. the homo's didn't even steal anything from the car, just totally immobilised it.
  18. yeh, omg seriously have to be the best hotel in the world. how did u justify $920 for one night on special? wowww... i felt like a hero when i treated my girlfriend to a $500 night at crown towers here in melbourne. lol. that is cheap, thats like .30 to .50 per litre. okay this is all really off topic... so... yeah... ummm... the 34gtr is nice lol...

    Home car wash!

i would actually be interested if it is possible at all to get a group buy and depending what brand. i use my neighbours one quite often, its a cheaper brand one, but it still does a great job. after all i spend like 20 minutes washing the car and about 3 hours polishing and waxxing. those carwash brushes are hell homo. seriously, u get 4x4's who scrape mud of the underside of their cars using those brushes without paying for the foamy stuff so it all gets stuck in the brush, then u see the next guy use the brush on the side of his lancer and it gets brown scratches all over the side. lol.
  20. i know its off topic, but have u been to this hotel in dubai? i wet my pants everytime i see it... and is it true that petrol is almost free there?
  21. is this the one behind mocha joe's? theres a few one way lanes behind there, and my front bar got stuck going down of one of the enterance humps, girlfriend had to pull my front bar upwards, one way so just scraped it slowly for 2 long minutes... and i didn't even get a spot there. also beware those carparks near the RSL at night, my friend's type-r rear wiper was broken off and stolen and another friend's s13 got broken into, bonnet opened and they cut all the wires coming from the engine bay fuse box. car sat there for months.
  22. lol thats cute as! is his body made from LEGO? and to whore, msg to rob, i already sold the type-r man...
  23. oh my... that is just sexy... all that negative camber, dish and that ride height. rezz, so whats the illegal bit in japan? you not allowed to stretch the tyres? or is sticking out illegal? does anyone know the widest tyre specs that can stretch across like 9-10" rims?
  24. the top rims u posted are horny. but with that amount of dish i rkn u will need to use spacers or they will rub the inside. problem with spacers i find is that they push out the base of the wheel which sometimes will cause the rims to stick out, i.e. need flares. i've got 10" rears with 265s and a bit of dish. they came with spacers and stick out a fair bit... here are some pics
