Sorry to hi-jack but I am wondering what sort of power to expect from my engine once installed. I have a HR31 Coupe which is getting a RB25DETneo dropped into it, I have heard that these motors equipped with a FMIC and a 3" exhaust are good for 200kw at the wheels. If I were to have those mods plus get the standard turbo hi-flo'd and running approx 1 bar, would I be pushing it to get somewhere close to the 250rwkw mark? After the hi-flo I plan a powerFC and some bigger injectors too, possibly also some more aggressive cams. Any suggestinos on how much that would make? Thanks in advance for any info or suggestions, and sorry for hijacking.

That would seem about right actually, a guy at my work has the R32 Silvertop in his HR31 coupe, it is completely standard including airbox and all. The only thing it has is a bleed valve set at 10psi and it made 127rwkw so your figure on stock boost seems about right.

Yes actually, I know it's not a newer skyline but, I'm doing an engine transplant into a HR31 Coupe, it's getting a RB25DET Neo engine, along with a hi-flo turbo, big FMIC, 3" exhaust, aftermarket computer, upgraded fuel system, cams etc. Hoping for somewhere in the vicinity of the 250-270rwkw after some more mods.

Well if the car is an import and does not have a compliance plate it will nedd to go through regency as mine did. If the car is an import and has a compliance plate it will only need to have an ID inspection to make sure the car isn't stolen etc. This can be done at the Sturt Transport SA Depot, only on certain days though. If the car in question is not an import it should have a compliance plate and the ID inspection is all you need to do. Just make sure the car is roadworthy, ie. all indicators and lights work, tyres are not bald, etc. Hope that clears things up for you.

Would those calipers fit onto a skyline with little modifications if necessary?

I'm particularly wanting a pic of the neo6 badging so I can get a sticker made up for my car. I'f anyone has one or can take a photo of theirs I'd be greatly appreciated. I'm wondering if anyone knows whethera R34 Tiptronic Auto box is the same physical size as a R33 Auto box. The reason for this is I am looking into buying a RB25DET NEO & Tiptronic Auto to go into my HR31 Skyline. I know for a fact that the R33 Auto boxes fit but I am unsure on the R34 type. I have also read that the Tiptronic box needs the standard ECU to communicate with to operate properly, any truth to this? not that it matters too much as I'll have the ecu anyway. Any info would be greatly appreciated. And yes, I have done a search on this topic but could not find the appropriate answers.
