  1. Thank you very much. I was right after all.
  2. Hello everyone, I need to figure out what is the power input that open the Variable Cam Timing, the Idle control valve the FCID valve that is activated on AC on. Since I only have the engine and no ECU. I think they are 12v inputs, but they may as well be 5v inputs. Does anyone have any ideas ? Regards,
  3. Hello everyone, Currently doing a swap RB25DET swap from a Nissan Stagea. I am assuming that the line coming out of the back of the power steering pump goes to the steering rack, and the line that has a flange on the side goes to the fluid reservoir. Is this correct ? Or am I doing the shittiest decision ever ? -- Regards,
  4. Hello from Portugal, I am doing a rb25/30det swap into a GQ patrol and I have a question about the vacuum line hookup. Does this output has the any kind of check valve ? Is it threaded so I can replace it by an AN8 adapter or something. This line needs to be connected to 2 vacuum reservoirs (one for the brake booster and clutch, the another one is to operate the rear locker). This had previously an rd28t diesel in it, since on a diesel the vacuum is a byproduct of the alternator, I never had to worry about check valves since it only sends vacuum. Any ideas are welcome. -- Regards, Alfredo Palhares
  5. Found one to AN 06 on that store, thank you so much !
  6. Yes like that, for the rb25det and prefebely AN08. You would be kind enough to point me to the correct one ?
  7. Hello scootty mn35 First of all thanks for your reply. Its an Aerometive A 13109 with -AN06 adapters. Does he sell an adpater for the stock fluel regulator to AN ? I am not seing it.
  8. Hello everyone, I have a Nissan Patrol with a mostly stock rb25det in it. Altought I prepared myself on the swap on stuff that I needed to have, that can handle my final needs. I have a Carter rotary pump, a anti surge tank and a Bosch 044 for the fluel system. But now the stock fluel regulator gave up, and since I live in Portugal parts need to be imported. I have a Aeromotive fluel regulator that I have sitting for the next phase. My questions, does anyone sell an adapter for the fluel regulator to an AN fitting (or any thread for that matter), I don't want to upgrade the fluel rail yet. Buying an adapter off the shelf would be nice, if not I have to get one machined. Thank you in advance. -- Regards, Alfredo Palhares
  9. The AWD sump would be too much work to modify, also, f**k why are all the bolts acessible, you need to take the flywheel off to access the back bolts. I think the best method is to modify the rd28 sump, enlarge it a bit on the oil pickup and add a bigger tank on the back. The AWD sump would be too much work as I need the oil reservoir to be on the back, for diff clearance and I do a lot of big uphills and inclinations.
  10. I need to modify both the oil pickup and the sump too, oil pickup it self hits the border of the sump, so I will need to widen it and get a bigger deposit for the line to pass. I will recheck this part this weekend, but I would like to see if there is someone out there who did it diferently.
  11. Hello, I am installing a rb25det on a Nissan Patrol Y60 (You australians might know it as the GQ shorty) It was the same bolting pattern as the rwd sump, my block is from a skyline GTS so its awd, it still has the RWD oil sump pattern. The problem is the oil pickup, It seems to it oil sump, but there is another place for an oil pickup on the block but the hole is filled, can I just drill the a hole on the back and put the oil pickup there ? The rd28 oil sump has the deposit on the back.
  12. Hello, sorry for the delay on the awsner. No that looks nothing like this box, the layout isn't even the same.
  13. Hello, I am in the middle of a RB25DET swap onto a 1989 Nissan Patrol Y60. The donor car was a 1997 Nissan Skyline GTS. I got almost complete wiring loom and this fuse box. But it did not had a cover, would anyone care to get me a picture of their fuse box so I can start labeling the wiring?
