  1. owww i get it now... question self answered
  2. temp, delete.
  3. Hmmm yeh that sucks then. Yeh when i took it to get fixed they noticed that somepart had been forced back in the hit, so they undid the bolts, pulled bar or rod or whatever back into place, took measurments, all lined up. After ringing them recently they said they might try to pull it back some more to see how it goes then. I duno, they're a steering specialist, thats all they do, they should be able to fix it. It's booked in for Monday, i'll post the results then.
  4. It seems the thing needs pulling back some more, i rang up spoke with the owner, hes going to drive it & deal with it this time. No need for a camber kit, just have to do some more adjustments it seems.
  5. F#ck renault, how could they kill godzilla, the r32, 33, & 34 have been the best series of skylines ever, bit of shame if there isnt ever going to be an r35 which it seems. ausgtr I never said there was going to be an r35, i asked if there was going to be one? Quote Post #1 "Are they going to release an r35 too?" Yes, i thought those pics looked like an r35 concept, they surely look like a progression of the r34, what are those concepts then, to what model name were those concepts called then? Those image filenames are labelled r35, & when i did a search on r35, that’s what came up. Would you not agree that the concept does not best resemble what a possible r35 could be?
  6. A. There should be an r35 B. An r35 should look like those pics.
  7. Cheers thats all the info i needed.
  8. 740cc ... Anyone?
  9. Regardless of the next skyline V36 or whatever... that doesnt change anything about my original post, its a dam maxima. & an r35 like in the pics would be sweet.
  10. Anyone? Suggestions, i want my car rolling straight dammit.
  11. Owww man, i never knew they have already released the next skyline, a dam maxima / 350z clone... That car looks great.... for a luxury car, not a skyline! Maxima's are great for an older driver wanting comfort, but for the skyline to be another maxima. That's stupid. F#ck renault. The G35 Isnt even a bloody turbo is it? + it's a V6... It's lost everything about Godzilla. Are they going to release an r35 too? Coz i've seen the mad looking concepts of that one.
  12. Anyone running these injectors? 740cc? Would the 740cc's be too big for around 450 bhp. Most of the time i'd only be running around on stock-O 7 pound boost.
  13. Dammit, i took it to a steering specialist... you'd think they would have checked that. They said they couldnt find anything bent & everything was measured up...
  14. Hi I took my car down to my steering specialist today to try & get 2 things fixed up before i go drag racing. 1. Brakes were shaking heavily under braking at 160 km/h +. I had the rotars machined, runs sweet now. 2. My car pulls to the left. The car hit the gutter on the left hand side a while ago, so had some parts which were bent replaced to fix it up. After that being fixed i took it back saying it was still leaning to the left & they noticed "so & so" the bolts had slipped a bit in the crash so they pulled them back into place... Ok, so its pretty good now, i can do 180 km/h & it's feeling ok..... Before it would shake hardcore at 140 km/h. So when i took the car back today i was hoping to get the steering fixed up 100% straight so when i go racing it'll be sweet. The response was that they measured up everything & they couldnt do any more with the stock steering parts & said they could install a camber kit for me. Does this sound right!? Will a camber kit fix up my steering. The car leans to the left & leans the same amount regardless of speed. The wheels don’t start shaking heavy at higher speeds, just a leaning to the left problem. So yeh, anyway who has had this problem, or knowledge about this type of stuff please do share you thoughts. Thanks! Cheers,
  15. Yeh i didnt rate it too well. I love South Park & Basketball but this movie really didnt do much for me. There were some funny bits but yer, just very ordinary humour, too much common stuff. "Team Amerika F#ck yeah" I thought that was a pretty funny song, but i'd laugh more out of 4 episodes of South Park than that one movie. Maybe if i seen it with a group of friends & some alcohol it would have been much better *i got a screener of it*
  16. lol, tossa
  17. What about exporting it as fully anti-aliased too? See what it looks like really smooth vector style?
  18. Speaking of reverse, we tried some reverse donuts / brakes in the wet yesterday but doesnt really work well with a locked diff & rear wheel drive... lol The old corolla did mad reverse dohies. lol Im so going to the drags then...
  19. Nice, well thats pretty much good enough to start getting a feel of the results. The results I would think could be bias also because the people reading the most threads & replying are people in IT who are on a computer all day. So the stats have brought in so far: We mainly drive r33 Gtsts We're mainly true blue & We all have IT jobs. It's a pretty crazy result so far when you think about it or is it? Do other car forums have similar polls, threads like this one & do people who say drive wrx's, on a wrx forum, do a lot all reply saying they are in IT too because a forum is a computer thing. Are skylines really driven by more IT people than any other car. If that is true, What is it about there being so many IT people with skylines like myself. Is it because we earn good money? Is it because we need to show off our selves? Are there many reasons to why IT people own skylines or a few reasons in particular. I dont know if i can even answer that myself. Personally, i love imports, skylines & supra's my fav. I love the best bang for bucks type cars... with the r33 gtst being one of the most affordable bang for bucks cars. So i love the skyline because of its power, looks, & import factor, something different 'even though there are a lot of them, but not compared to say a commodore, falcon, or corolla'. When i think about it too, a car can represent someone fairly well. I spose another reason why i chose the skyline is because it shows my success for someone of my age. I dont mean to brag but i'm trying to look at this in the most direct way, only say 3% 'not sure of percentage' of people can buy a $20 k car on there own @ 18 without help of parents. Although I had so many people 'guys' from my school think my dad bought my car & this really shits me off... F#ck off, i work smart & hard and this is how i show it i spose. Do i have the car for the girl factor, sure it helps, women are materialistic *for the women reading, yeh us guys are too, but we're more materialistic about a womans breasts than her money *. Do i go & hang with all the others in done up cars picking up 16 year old girls... No, not at all. If you meet a girl, you go out with her, pick her up in a nice fast car, yeh its certainly a plus. A lot of girls love skylines 'from what i've found', like a lot of you would probably have experienced, in a car park or somewhere some girls have run up & asked about your car starting talking to you 'verrrrrry materialistic hahah' When i first got my car had random chix ringing me up seeing if i wanted to take'em for drive! What the. Cant say i got that when i had the hyundai excel... lol I'm just not sure what is is about skylines & IT people 'if it is true that skylines are dominated by IT people', im sure there are many reasons for different types of people. Eg, a mechanic might love his GTR because of it's sheer potential. I think the most interesting answer would be to the question "Do a lot of IT people have similar personalities & interests which are associated with their occupation" I love a fast car & a r33 gtst to me is the best looking car to get running down a 1/4 mile in 12 secs for $25 k. Keep the Skyline model: Age: Race: Occupation: still coming it, but some thoughts about this post would be great too! Lets break it down now 'psychologically that is' Cheers, I should be a IT dude, mechanic, & psychologist... then merge them into one super occupation....hahah
  20. Yeh... what he said ^ If you have long term goals for your car & how much power you want to end up making you'd buy the appropriate sized turbo. Next turbo i get will be good for around 550 hp I'd say.
  21. I gota brass button, is great. Was a little stall prone at first but you get used to it like all things, very on/off thats for sure. I was driving my dads corolla for only a couple days & when i went back to my skyline it really made me realise how on/off my clutch is compared to a normal car.
  22. R31Nismoid 270rwkw isnt 280 rwkw +... :spcartman Nar j/k lol, Thats very nice! Good stuff... Will be awesome to see what power you make when you get the rest of your gear is installed, should be up there with the most powerful SAU members r33 gtst's.
  23. Yeh, they do look very fast on TV, but the fact they can do a 1/4 mile in 6 seconds.... That would be amazing to watch live, will have to go watch some oneday...
