Lol, We love the noises our turbo cars make dont we... hahah I have a K&N Pod... I wouldn’t say it's extremely loud *i havent heard anything else, so cant compare* but would say it sounds very nice on an open throttle, in the cold it is VERY loud for sure. I have a Blitz BOV & i would say it's loud... .It seems BLitz are making the loudest BOVs & PODs. At low Psi mine flutters the Psshhhh coming back out through the Pod too... Now that sounds kool.

Lol, i dont care for trends, If you like something, then you do it. Simple, every1 is different, some people will like the loud BOV, others wont. It's a free country PSSSSHHHHH!!!!!!!!

I rang up this morning, spoke to my tuner, said he didnt even notice the 56 IT, said he must have placed the sensor out of place. Told me how he put the sensor in some 100 degree water once & it only made x amount of difference *cant remember what figure*, said that between my dynos there would be a small kw inaccuracy difference due to the IT temp. I think like only around 3 - 4 kw. It was a free dyno tune for me anyway. I'll probably get another dyno in a few weeks to tune some octane booster into there before i go to the drags with the guys. We'll make sure the IT is right this time & I'll do another dyno sheet post then. They gona lend me some Nitto's too for the runs The tuner is a top bloke, im sure the IT thing was an honest mistake. *Like it was much of a difference anyway.

Some people complain about petrol prices being 10c more expensive here or there. But like it really affects us... It might make a few dollars difference, you might be able to save $5 a week lol. We all put large amounts of money into our cars, I dont think it's going to affect our pocket very much. I only use BP Ultimate so if it's $1.20, then its $1.20.. I'd prefer quality over price. The truth is whatever the petrol prices are, we gota pay it. I top my tank once a week & costs me usually $50 to $55. It was $1.16 last time, like I'm gona go put in Optimax coz it might have been $1.05.

Then 450 bhp @ the engine is my goal! I'm making 309 rwhp, this might be around 380 hp @ the engine right?

Yeh good point R31Nismoid. I run a VL t3/t4 High Flowed on my rb25 @ 12 psi, The turbo is great, my dyno tuners were very impressed with it making such efficient power, they asked me where i got it from but unfortunately, i dont even know, came with the car.

Yeh???? through the pod?... ummmmmmmm is that bad to be going back through the compressor... sounds weird to me, i spose its only low boost anyway. I was just thinkin why it makes that noise the other day too... I was thinking... How is it at such low boost there is enough pressure to open the BOV spring up to make that noise.... Sounds sweet anyway.... lol

Before i bought my car the guy took me for a ride... he changed gears at lower revs *prob about 3000 rpm* and the car made this weird ass fluttering noise "What the hell was that" i said. It's the BOV. I have a Blitz BOV and at lower Psi it flutters the exiting air, at higher boost *10 psi plus* it makes these dirty big SSSSSPWWWSSHHHH blow off noises lol. It might flutter about 3 times @ low boost, & one huge one at higher boost. Sounds really cool when the outside temperature is really cold too, one big blow off might go for like 2 seconds. Man, do i have some stories of scaring people with it, lol its just too tempting sometimes with people on the sidewalk about 2 meters away!! hheehe But i do have morals! I wont do it to old people, because i'd fear they'd have a heart attack & fall over & die.

Dam these Bloody skylines!!! I wasnt even into cars before i bought one, i didnt even know ANYTHING about cars before i bought one. I bought my modded GTST and the power scared me so much i nearly sold the thing right away *my first car was a 60kw Excel then a 200 rwkw skyline, but after time the power just kept feeling less & less and all I can think about now is my next mod. I fall asleep thinking of how to get my car faster... Dam these skylines, they make modding a car more addictive than crack. I want to have a 11 sec car... but if i get my gtst maxed out for 11's , i'll only want 10s!! Dam these machines, addictiveness sent from hell. Now i just wana get a GTR so i can make some serious horsepower & probably blow ALL my money on having a ridiculously quick car. I need to be satisfied with what i got... AHHHHHHH:crazy:

Personal preference, its something we all have. But if I have $200,000 to spend on a car. I can buy A: Some Real nice luxury reasonably quick Merc or B: A r34 GTR with about $100,000 worth of mods to it.... I think i'll be taking the 10 second car! I'd love a faster car over a more luxury car. The skylines give ya what ya need anyway in regards of power steering, windows, climate control, stuff like that. Guess i just like a car that feels like a non-stop roller coaster

Yeh, a true sleeper is a car you've never heard of being fast at all... There's this Toyota Starlet going around that does low 12's! It would be the ultimate sleeper if it wasnt for the big performance decals on it.

Hi just wondering what boost people are running on their RB25 Stock engines? I'd like to know what psi the Rb25 is capable of on with stock Headgasket & pistons, and also what Psi people are running if they are using aftermarket Headgaskets & or Pistons on their rb25. I'd like to know how much power a GTST can really make. I'm currently running 12psi giving me 230 rwkw, down the track I'll up it to 18 psi. A guy i know runs 20 psi on his gtst running stock interals & makes 430 rwhp. I'm pretty sure he has stock headgasket, anyways some feed back would be great. Cheers! With replys, please keep them simple, no massive details about your car, just Boost related info on the rb25.

I've just had a dyno done for 230 rwkw shootout mode. I'm wondering what 0-100 time it might do 'have locked dif & 10" rear tyres'. I would have thought 5's. 3.8 for 280 rwkw sounds mighty quick!
