I didnt know at first if i liked the change that NFSU 2 was from the demo, but now i love it. They've really improved on the sounds, & the whole free roaming street racing on the spot is great fun. I like the on road drifting too.... you actually have to handbrake into the corners to get the car sliding first, its more realistic, i cant wait till it's released, i'll go buy it right away!

Hi I was a little surprised to see the latest 'feature car'. Everyone has personal preferences to visual aspects of the cars, some will like, some wont, but one thing we all appreciate is worked engines, great 1/4 times & dyno sheets. I was a bit disappointed to see this *to me* fairly average modded r33 was a feature car after Leewahs crazy 33 GTR. If you're to feature an r33 Gtst, i'd thought you feature one which is putting out over 300 rwkw or something? Cheers,

I gota K&N Pod, induction noise is very nice in the cold & yeh, you get that flutter noise too... But lets not get into that, theres another thread about that. but yeh, the point is a panel filter for your stock air box is good!

Ok... LANGUAGE WARNING STRAIGHT UP! So i had my car in for a service today to get the steering spot on 100% before i go to the drags. i went to pick up my car this arvo & you wouldnt f#cking believe it, the owner comes walking out, "sorry mate i pranged your car", 'what' i thought he was joking @ first coz i looked @ the back & it looked fine, then he said "yeh really sorry i'll tell ya what happened" so we walk up to my car, 'owwwwwwww f#cking shit!', dammmmmmm, the side door was all pranged in & the front quarter panel too... farrrrrrrrrrrrk. The story went as: he was rang up told his mother was very ill in hostipal, he got in the big 4WD Cab chassis with big f#ckin bullbar type thing on the back & coz he was in a rush, smacked it into reverse turning without looking, & boom into my f#cking car. There's no way i could be angry @ him, he's always treated me right so i just said sorry about his mother & that was about it. He said he would take it to the best smash repairs he knew & get it all fixed up, i know he'll treat it the best way it can be done, but the whole situation has just left me feeling really bummed & f#cking angry, just angry @ the situation & it has just proceeded after having a bad weekend *inc loosing my wallet on sat night*. So im just trying to deal with this stroke of f#ct luck. Already been down the gym & smashed some boxing bags, listening to some heavy music 'korn' now & i'll find out 2moro what damage was done exactly & how long it's gone be till i have my baby back... I have decals on my doors too, so i'll probably gota source some replacements now too... ARRRRRRRRRRRRR Everyone else who has had something f#ct happen to their baby 'the line ofcourse' from bad luck, something not their fault, plz bitch about your story too... Let it all out! :cuss: cuss away. Coz if we bottle it there'll just be another ivan milat.

Yeh, do a search on Cold Air Boxes, there's lots of good advice on making your own, & as fantasy said directing air up to your pod. I personally have not done it yet but will expect good results when i do. I rarely go driving & nighttime but went driving last night when the air was all cold & DAM! My car was running the fastest i'ver ever felt, stock 7 psi felt like atleast 12psi during the day. Then when i upped it to 12psi, all i can say is fast... very very fast... So when i do get a CAI happening should be great for daily driving.

Nar sorry, i dropped the car down this morning, he was saying how it sucks when you have to get the car up onto a proper rig or something & check the whole chassis or something, anyway they're taking a look today. I'll try to remember the technical terms & parts they talk about when i pick it up & post the results tomorrow. Cheers,

Yeh I agree with knore, what is $900 to achieve this power a bit more safely. Sounds a bit weird. The power difference from different dyno's is interesting too. Hi I was reading an old hot4s mag of mine of a featured r32 GTR this morning. Once finding out how much power it was making, i then realised, sh#t thats not a great amount, its certainly good, but i've heard of many other members on these forums with skylines making larger power. I then thought, wonder how many people here on the forums have actually had their car in a magazine. I thought the only reason why one of the members big hp skylines wouldnt make it is because of its appearance inside, outside, & especially the engine bay. Anyway, anyone who has had their car featured in a magazine, please post any information you can about your car & scans of the article would be great. Cheers,

Pods bring in more air, but hot air Stock air boxes bring in less air, but colder air. Pods are only good for turbo's sucking lots of air @ higher RPMs. If not flowing large amounts of air, best to have a cold air box around it, otherwise its just going to be sucking in hot air. Pods can be Bad for lower speed, but good for higher speed RPMs. Hot4s mag did an article on stock air boxes vs pod filters & modifying your stock air box by replacing the filter & cutting out some plastic restrictions will work better than a pod if your vehicle is stock, can all depend on the total setup like all things.
