  1. I get the stutter when low boosting, but i was really after the high pitch ching sound. Do you need to run more than 7 psi to get it?
  2. I dont have a pic of how i installed but i got a 95 gtst and it too losse to fit in the thread. What is did was went to work and turned up another plastic insert for the inside. All i had to do to make it was make the second staggered bit 9mm. Hope that makes sense. If you look at it form the base you see it staggered. Yeah because the thread on the gear stick is like a ISO metric 10mm so with the 9mm hole you can just screw it in by hand. Hold well and can be removed if i want to, ie not using silastic or some sort of glue. Hope that helps
  3. A yellow r34 did you get a sterio or something at pro sound jesmond? Lucky you one of only a few in Newcatle to have a 34 but with the rb26 and 2530's that will be a beast.
  4. Thanks that would be great if you could. Hopefully i can get it a trade price to and i know a mechanic that can do the change to. Cant wait.
  5. Can i get 1 to plz?
  6. Hey you dont have the part number from off the box or anything like that do you. Was it 550 for clutch alone or was that installed as well.
  7. Im pretty much up to where you are with mod FMIC exhaust BOV etc. Once i sort out my clutch i will be down to sydney to get my wolf tuned. So imthinking if i was you prob a Apexi pfc, wolf or something similar. GTRUSH have seen out at the foreshore a few times. Looks hot with the cf hood. But dont get the wrong idea about me and doing laps cos i reckon there pretty ghey but thats just me. Takes like 10 min to go 500 metres and people just keep goin round and round. My line us my daily driver so i might see you guys round. Take it easy
  8. Hi mate im from newcastle got a black r33 gtst. Havent seen you around you normally go the foreshore? Starting to see a few 33'd around newy these days. Havent heard of any skyline cruises but sometimes the import guys come from syd. Might see you round.
  9. The stock clutch is good for 200rwkw. Anyone else have a stock clutch that is coping well with that. There is probably a good chance that stock one is worn cos it done 84000 on the clock but god knows how many its really done. Im still thinking about going for a heavy duty cos if i can get it cheap i also know someone who can install cheap as well so it might not be to pricey to have a H/D.
  10. Yeah had a read im guessing they should be able to hold 200rwkw. Yeah not to sure if it will fit mine cos im just assuming if its series2 engine then it would be series 2 clutch? Is there a way to tell (keep in mind i dont know to much about clutches). What price are lookng at for the patrols clutch under $200? I'll definately look into it if they fit as im not really pushing the power envelope.
  11. Hi thanks for the reply. The car is a 1995 series 1.5 (series 2 motor). Have done a few searches and alot of people seem to pretty happy with their different brands of clutches just from what i read exedy seem to be good.
  12. Hi guys My clutch is on its way out and i need the part numbers of a new clutch as i might be able to get them through work. I was looking to get an extra heavy duty or super heavy duty exedy single plate to fit an r33 gtst hopefully putting out about 200rwkw after the new clutch is installed. Feel free to offer alternative clutches as i am not just looking a exedy ones. Thanks guys
  13. Hey mate same thing happened to me. Check the number on the package if it says SF-DIS 001 their for series 1 r33 skylines and earlier r32s etc. If it says SF- DIS 005 their for the series 2 r33s r43s etc. Or another way is to just try and fit one. If it fits easliy without forcing it they should work. You shouldnt have to modify in anyway to make it fit.
  14. Sorry to be a ricer but i have to agree with this. I read here alot that HKS SSQV sounds awsome and im serieously considering getting 1 but i havent heard it before. So at the very least if someone with a SSQV could get an audio clip that would be awesome
  15. I know this is off the topic but They say that exceeding the speed limit by 5kmh is going to double your chance of crashing and another 5kmh will triple your chance of crashing etc. What are the chances. I mean as percentage. Im thinking if you take the number of crashes in Australia everyday divided by the number of people who drive a car in Australia everyday that number would be pretty small right? So does anyone know the actual numbers?
  16. Yeah i like the way you compare a possibly 10+ year old r33 gtst (not top of the range) against a brand new top of the range (are they not that i care just to prove a point) clubsport r8. Ok lets some more comparisons. Compare the r34 GTR to a 1994 ss v8. What would the bomadore run a 17 sec on good day. Really makes the GTR look awesome (as they are). All im saying is your comparisons are bullsh1t. Also i just proved to myself yet again holdens are Ghey.
  17. Thats right, Just remember your comparing the r33 built roughly 93-98 (dont quote me). If you compare to the holden ford v8 of equivalent time period the im pretty sure the GTSTs and GTRs should have it on them (in stock form).
  18. I have the same problem. Its coming from the drivers side and sounds like its behind the dash somewhere possible in the engine bay. Its intermitant but i sounds like a squeeky spring on an bed. Its not too loud but you can hear it when cruising. I dont think its suspension or anything as it make that sound as soon as you start the car and are not moving. I been told to check tesion off the belts as they can make funny sounds and possibly put dry lube on them. Think i might go do that.
  19. Thanks for the replys 180bfj20det. I probably should have mentioned that its is running the standard ecu atm so im just getting around on that. Matt Spry is located in Gold Coast. Thats a bit far for me im in newcastle but i will do some searches and try to find some good tuners in sydney (ones that other people would recommend). Not too keen for anyone in newcastle heard and read a few posts and most people say their pretty sh1t. Coils should be here in a couple of days finger crossed.
  20. Im not sure what u mean about mad places but there are alot of apprenticeships out there. Depends on what u want to do exactly. (motor mechanic, electrician, gyprocker(spelling)etc). Im an apprentice second year electrical mechanic and i like what im doing and get paid above award wages. Im not sure but havent alot of places just hired apprentices you know for this year  . If u do look for one my advice is to apply for alot and then you can choose which one u want.
  21. Thanks for that. Will do. I ve had it sittin round for a while now and getting keen for it to get hooked up . Do you reckon i should just drive stock ecu to tuner and get them to put it on the dyno and get them to hook it up. Or is there a way to check the a/f ratios without putting it on the dyno  . Take into consideration i know nothing about tuning etc. I mean will it come up on the hand controller. Where abouts is Matt Spry located.
  22. Cool thanks for the reply. So i should be able to plug it back in and it should work hopefully . Also you were happy with the tune from Croydon racing development.
  23. C mon guys surely someones coils are playing up on them. Bump
