I dont have a pic if your cooling piping comes throught the drivers wheel arc and past the radiator, the stock airbox should fit but the snorkel probably wont fit (doesnt on mine). If it comes back through the original intercooler hole then :confused: im not sure. If you post a pic up some other guys may be able to help you.

Hi guys. I was who was defected on the weekend regular stuff BOV pod etc. I need to get it cleared by an authorised unregistered vehicle inspection station. My question is when im there can i get defected further by the guys at the inspection station or is it only the police who issue the defects. Thanks.

Nice i just live round the corner. I might not need it cos i went and pumped up my tyres pretty hard and got about 2-3mm clearance now. Appreciate the help anyway guys.

Hi guys i was wondering if anyone in Newcastle has a stock r33 exhaust i can borrow to clear a defect. The defect isnt that its too loud its that its too low. I checked and it too low by about 2-3mm at the most. Appreciate any help. Thanks

Anyone? Im guessing its the relay that powers the pfc cos its causing to flick on an off same thing happens to the avcr???????

Hi guys. Had a power fc installed today. Everytime i go to start the car as in turn on the ignition punch in number (key pad imobilsier) there is a very fast ticking sound coming from the passenger side near where the ecu would be i assume. The apexi screen flashes on an off for a few seconds then goes normal. Starts and runs fine (still untuned just a quick road tune) just does this when i go to start it. Has this happened to anyone before? Any ideas? Thanks Guys

Ok guys i got a Wolf 3D version 4 with hand contoller. It is a plug in play ecu for an R33 gtst. It has been tuned for r33 with a turbo back exhaust. Basically a very midly modded car. Have some pics but are bit too big to post up here reply or pm me and i can email them to you. Looking for $1000 ono. Cheers

Hi guys ive just found out that my work has an ultrasonic cleaner. Im about to get the car tuned and the tuner recommenend that i have the injectors cleaned. Basically has anyone done this before. He quoted me $30 per injector to be cleaned and flow tested. Is this a big job ie taking the injectors out. Cos if i was to do it myself i dont really know what im doing. So i might end up getting him to do it. If i was going to do it i cant flow testing either. Quess im asking is this something that can be attempted or should i just part with the money and get him to do it . Thanks

If what you are saying is true then i will be mighty pissed off as i bought a pfc because of what the tuner has told me.

The place i went to is well known tuner in Sydney. One of a few places that do tune them. This is not the first time that this has happened to them when tuning a wolf on a r33 gtst. There was a customer that had that happen to them before. Also i can think of 1 thread where this has happened and cooked splitfire coils. All im saying is be careful cos it can cost you alot for a something you cant use.

If you were refering to my post that setting is untunable. Meaning you can not change that setting its already programed in by the factory.

At idle it was holding the coils on (dwell time) for anywhere between 16 - 18 milli seconds. When the tuner told me other ecus (pfc) would hold them on for 1.6 to 1.8ms. Basically meaning there holding the coils on for 10 times too long and will burn them out very quickly. Also i have splitfires and they said they cant guarantee that they wont burn out either. Basically i paid an extra grand for my car because of the wolf and i can pretty much throw it in the bin.

Ive spent a bit of time working on it. You have to put good tyres on it and play around with the gear ratios. Ie make them bigger. I cant drift with full power on you tap the throttle quickly should be able to hold drift without spinning out. How do you start your entry i cant feint drift very well with it only handbrake entry. But how good does it look .

Put one in my car too and dont rate them either. They may have some good functions etc, but thats useless when they dont even work properly.

Yeah i didnt realise it was only $25 difference. For the that extra little bit of money adjustable for sure. Even if i didnt change them you would always have the option if you wanted to. I didnt realise they were that easy to change position etc. I just thought you needed a little more knowledge in suspension.

Ok the whiteline kits are looking very good at the moment. But would it be really be worth while get the adjustable ones (as oppossed to a fixed one) considering i know next to nothing about suspension setups? Cheers
