  1. Wow... Like there wasn't enough speed cameras in sydney yet... Are you sure you didn't spot the bus lane camera (near the old toll gates)? If it isn't, then that is super gay!!!! Two within 100m...sigh.
  2. Just pictured this entire scene in my head and am laughing my ass off. Especially at the turbo in the boot hahahaha.
  3. Broncolor is 10x the price of AB's. If i ever went pro as a studio shooter i still wouldn't invest in broncolor, i'd go with profoto. Broncolors just so "It has to be broncolor" or you can't use it. That's why i dont like them. I LOVE the light they output, but the price! The price! I like that Avenger stand. To bad C stands with wheels and crank's are like $300-$400 +$200 shipping to aus!
  4. Ah broncolor. Yeah Jason Cole shoots with broncolor, seen him use one. I'd much rather pay $5K for an elinchrom Octabank which does the same thing. I think they are bigger (or around the same size). Broncolor is stupidly expensive. Great gear etc... but way over-priced. A cable just to plug a strobe into a battery pack is $400. Its only 2m!!! Anyhow, i can only imagine how good the light is from one of these
  5. Mmmm fisheye shots. I want a go pro now lol. Sidd - Octabank? Looks like a 100" one?
  6. Oh how I miss real drifting in Sydney
  7. When i went 4 years ago, i was 18. Even back then i thought it was sh!t. Nobody cares for big powah GTR's or any car that looks standard besides JDM wheels. Until it hits the dyno and blows flames in there face and then they go "Zomg Fast and the furious is true!" and really all they drool over is the T88 turbo not even knowing what it is there for. Oh - The year i went, DREMPT was there with his fake intercooler and not even any plumbing for it. Exposed end tanks FTL. I admire clubs that go there to get exposure though the cars they show maybe not to everyones taste at least they are trying to get there name out there. I suppose.
  8. I want to say something about Matt's mum, but i better not. Thanks Stev'ooooo
  9. Remember - I haven't finished it.
  10. Hahaha great night. Jokes are what makes it appealing for people to come along not the photography haha. Matt didn't swear because secretly he wants new gear I got home at 1am. Was no way i was going to edit pics. BUT I DID. One anyway. It's no where near finished, i'll post it up on lunch break. Good to meet everyone, hope Owen got home at a reasonable hour and the rest of the crew. Hope everyone enjoyed the night, thanks to Steve-O for the beers and Terry for assisting the missus with holding the lights/various people carrying my gear around. +11ty at worst excuse i've ever heard!
  11. Nice shots Sidd, keep it up
  12. Who wants to light paint in daylight? Check it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Friggin expensive though. http://www.foxfury.com/catalog/product_inf...products_id=153 Youtube video below
  13. A panhead tripod head is great for this kind of stuff. Also a leveller too. Don't jump around whilst your taking the photos either to minimize vibration. **NOTE: Jumping occurs when you take superbly amazingly awesome pics. It's a photographers syndrome.
  14. I would really of liked some depth to the 2 shots (e.g. f/2.2 or a wide open aperture). Everything is in focus in the BG and it's pulling my attention away from her. That's pretty much it. Ooo and i donno, maybe cause i was there, but it seems this it's not a posed shot, it's like an in-between poses shot lol. Hard to explain, i know it wasn't but it looks like it. I like the 2nd pose the best. Good job for a people person n00b! Oh and sweet photos Nick, your getting better
  15. That horse photo is ISO 6400, f/2.8 and 1/60th and still way too dark?! Wow, must be extremely dark. Looks a bit too saturated as well. Colour is best set in post instead of in-camera. Unless you shoot JPEG 24/7. Of which you could still get better colour in post anyway than set in-camera as it would be more accurate. My picture style is set on standard, no adjustments, it doesn't matter anyway, cause i shoot RAW.
  16. Compression issues, artifacting etc... It's mostly because they cannot resize properly lol.
  17. All the stuff for the official merchandise stuff etc.. will stay alive. Even if you dont use your photobucket account ever again. Just host your PHOTOS on Flickr! Its much better than anything else and the "compression" issues that most people have with photobucket and imageshack never happens. Jsut resize your photos to the correct size.
  18. Sorry - Don't have any discount codes etc.. But its seriously cheap! For the price of one 3rd party battery here, you can get 2 from there that are more powerful and stronger. I had 5 of them when i had my 50D and now i have to buy genuine. Although apparently the e-bay "Decoded" LP-E6 batteries are quite good, but the canon still holds charge the longest. Nah Rhys runs his house on eneloops don't you
  19. No worries Funkymonkey Didn't think you meant that Does the 300mAh really make that much difference? I've used Sony batteries that were rated at 2700mAh and the eneloops still outperformed them. I'll have to test out the Powerex's Also - If anyone is keen for 3rd party batteries (Minus the 5D2 and 7D because of the intelligent battery thing) go to www.sterlingtek.com ! Super cheap batteries that outperform canon/Nikon batteries. The American guys swear by them and they are cheap too!
  20. I got mine from Dick Smith also. Although i could of saved $1 or something buying online, i wanted them then and there. How many batteries are you buying to kiss your paycheck goodbye?! You running your entire house off eneloop powah?
  21. My work dislikes imageshack and photobucket and facebook. Post it to flickr!!!
  22. Not trying to start a war here but here goes I wouldn't really say Eneloops are "cheapies". Many thousands of people swear by them also. They don't dissipate charge either. They come pre-charged straight out of the box and who knows how long they've been sitting on a shelf. Out of all the batteries i've used i find them to be the best. Fastest recycle rate, I've never had them die on me even after hours of use. That's just my personal opinion. I've never used Powerex batteries so i don't know how they are, but i'd like to try them. As Sidd said - The charger for them is gay. I use a seperate battery charger so i know when they are charged and because it's faster
  23. You'd buy it to get your dignity back
  24. Hahahaha. You have a worse shot of me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I even shooped you. Be grateful i didn't do what i wanted to do lol.
  25. Nice shot Sidd Although i can't help but think the liquify tool here would help her out or something lol. Looks like she has a massive ghetto booty hahahaha. Heres a shot from me of MY model for the day hahahaha. And a BTS shot
