  1. Hahahaha i type it so it doesn't get filtered and now it's just a habit lol. Eric i got one photo of your car i think. The next time i saw it, it was night time or i was in the pits chatting to everyone! Sorry man. Pic is below. And Michael - Who cares if the gopro was on the car, it was epic! I don't think i am ever going to get over a clean looking nice 34 GTR. Even in 10-20 years. Keep up the good work with the car mate!
  2. Eric - Your video editing is definitely getting much much better! Really like the music and its a good compilation. Only thing i don't like is the zoom in and out real fast a few times but i know that wasn't you doing it haha. Love it at like 1:15 the BYP evo is spraying flames everywhere from the cooler piping blowing off, looks awesome! How come Dave's car smokes out of the exhaust everytime he gets off the throttle, turbo gasket? The lowdown pics look great mate, keep up the good work, i always like reading your guys blog. XKLABA - Is this your GTR below? If so.. pr0n.
  3. Also if you link your website, it will help your SEO out. I suggest that you add it to your signature and sign up to some forums also. It's not us being lazy, it's you being lazy not giving us a link when really it's helping you out Keep up the work and look forward to some pics!
  4. Yeah i can imagine the strain it puts on you mate! At least you know it will hold it's value It should have a code on the rear of the lens (on the polished mountining metal) just above where the back of the glass is there should be a number that says for e.g. UVXXXX or something like that. The second letter of that is the date code of the lens be it 2008/09/10 etc...
  5. I took some pics, think i missed saying hi to everyone as i wasn't around the garage much or you guys left early. Will post up tomorrow. That sucks about the DC5, when did that happen e.g. what time!?
  6. I have a 33 still sitting in the front yard it just never gets driven
  7. Lol fool... Back on Thursday morning. Really don't want to leave...
  8. Sidd i told you at least 10 times when i was going hahahahaha. And yes, Japan is fcuking shamazing!!!!!!!!!!! Didn't read the previous page, but a meetup in march would be good/fine with me.
  9. Sidd - Let me know and if i'm back, i'll cruise out. Sweet shots Serg! Really like that old school VW Bug shot!
  10. Yep same weekend as the wakefield day. I personally don't like powercruise so i won't be there, but matt's getting his bogan on!
  11. Hahaha thanks for the comments. I imagine this thread in a years time will be crammed full of all of us pro 'togs hahahaha. After i get back from Japan Sidd. Although i want to pour money into the evo haha. But really thinking about it now, if i invested in a rig, i could probably make money from taking photos. Interesting synopsis. Have to do a proper session with the chaser after i get back from Japan. When you getting the tune done?
  12. Yeah haven't been bothered to remove anything yet. Just wanted to see what it looked like in B&W. Tree will get ditched. If i get a free bar out of it i will be f'ed
  13. Mucking around with B&W. I like it. Apart from the fact there are poles growing out of the car which i cbf removing because it will look weird as well.
  14. Photos turned out good guys, glad you enjoyed the experience. I think there needs to be half time entertainment. Whenever we do shoots, 2hrs actually is 4-5 hrs hahaha.
  15. Yeah i figured that I converted it to inches (roughly) in my head haha, so really its more like 14 inches.............I'm going to leave it at that and see what responses we get
  16. Nice shots fagboy! Turned out nice! Those XT9's are fcuking pr0n!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Do you have another softbox besides your little mini one? Because i donno if you realize, but a 40x60 softbox is fcuking massive. Bigger than my octo. If you mean your little mini one its like 12x24". Unless i'm talking about something else? OH SNAP. Would be friggin epic to paint with though!! Although would need about 4 of my lights for it. Did you end up using my light? Sidd - Fantastic wedding shots as always. Can't believe how hairy that guys chest is :O
  17. Noise shows up well before 3200. Around ISO 800 on most cameras. It depends on what you shoot with (camera, nothing to do with lenses). The only thing lenses come into is that you can shoot at 1.2/1.4 etc.. in low light so that your shutter speed can be upped or your ISO dropped. This doesn't always help out THAT much but it helps. I can't get over how fcuking big those trucks are. Would love to drive one! Jay your definitely killing it with the HDR's. Look so natural and i feel like i'm there. Lepperfish - Good to see you posting again Really like that silo of the car!
  18. Jesus Phil. That is cheap as for a 16-35 II. Whats the date code on it? Rhys - The 70-200 2.8 IS is discontinued as it's been replaced by the Mark II version. Hence the big $1000 price difference as well. You can pick up a 70-200 f4 non IS for around $1K and a IS version is around $1300-$1500 depending where you shop. Check out BH Photo or Adorama in the states (google them) or use www.shopbot.com.au . Remember that if it's too cheap and the company has bad reviews, don't buy it. Maybe skip the first 2 sellers that turn up or research them thoroughly! It's a lot of money to spend and you don't want to lose something that valuable. Any more questions let me know.
  19. Spotted Silver 33 pulling out of the servo at Beacon Hill yesterday arvo/night. SAU Sticker on the 1/4 panel glass. Didn't catch the number plates. I was in the white Evo that turned into maccas.
  20. Nick makes me wet.
  21. Great shots MJ Saw this on JDMST, it's about time it got featured, such a fat ride!
  22. Thanks guys Sidd that is totes the Shangri-La isn't it!?
  23. Couple from BMW's trackday at Wakefield last Sunday.
  24. Hey Terry, Sweet cars you have there Did you buy the bayside blue one with the huge wing like that? Maybe i'm used to looking at the black one but i don't think the Advans suit the bayside blue one for some reason. I've probably been staring at your (Matt's) car for too long hahaha. Good to see you taking photos of the cars. Take more!!!!!!!
  25. Thanks Eric, i love it too Good stuff Rhys. More practice and more practice. Looks like it was a little dark there too or you had an ND on that could be making the photos soft? Remember the faster they are going, the more you can raise your shutter speed. E.g. Car going 100km/h i'd shoot at 1/30th, 1/40th, whereas at the drags, they are hitting 130'ish km's by mid track (for the average car) so by the side they are side on, you could shoot them at around 1/60th -1/80th comfortably and still with good motion blur.
