Redline Photography - That is light painting. Plenty of info out there on how to do it, everyones technique varies and what they use etc... but it's a lot of fun when you get to know what your doing! Black cars are extremely hard though so i will be keen to shoot that black car again to see what i can do. Hope this helps, let me know if it doesn't. Josh - That's a rig shot. Shot with a boom hanging off the car. If you google rig shots, you will find out tonnes of info on it! The hardest part to get right is the boom and looks like Matt has got it right.

Hahahaha point and pray! You've got like 135 degrees of angle to play with don't you, so as long as it's semi accurate, you'll get the shot hopefully lol. A couple random things from me. 5 minute impromptu shoot with a mates car. Didn't have any modifiers with me. Will shoot it again at a later date with more time hopefully Some drifting

Matt would of just converted it to B&W i'm pretty sure and because there was mostly white and black tones that's how it turned out. Might of painted the sky a bit blacker, depends how long the exposure was. If you shoot the same thing and convert it to a strong B&W, you'll be a maestro too!! Please Note: Could be wrong!

No drama's mate Just let me know when your ready! John - Seriously no point in doing a photoshop course. There is sooooooooo many tutorials out there on the net. Host your photos on flickr. Photobucket is restricted at too many places to view during the day at workplaces etc... so your photos will just get skimmed past (good point here!). Research things regarding white balance correction, levels, curves, sharpening and layer masks and then after that, it's up to you what you want to do with the photo There are many ways to do the same thing, some are better, some are worse or are much more time consuming. Keep it up mate! You should be proud of your photos for how long you have been taking photos. Night photography is one of the hardest parts of photography.

John - Do you do any post processing on your photos e.g. photoshop or anything? Bri-dawg - About zero lol. Could get your car on the road, but there would be railings in the way with the bridge/opera house peaking through. You could do it with your car at milsons point though. I'm sure you've seen many shots of cars right near/under the harbour bridge? Long long drive for you though!

Don't forget sidd is shooting with a 5DII (Full frame) so his dynamic range is alot larger. I only got there and took one photo and it was pretty rubbo. 30sec at f11 which was a stop or so under-exposed and then we moved over to the other spot. Post up your shots John!

Holy shit rhys! 4WD'ing is epic though! Take some photos of some epic 4WD'ing! I'm still amazed at how good patrols are at "crawling". I did not know suspension was capable of half the things i have seen! Sidd - Your photos are just rad. Makes me want a 5DII soooooo bad!! Eric - Turned out good for your first attempt mate!! My best advice i can give, is shoot with the light behind you (then you don't get those underexposed sides of the car that you want all shiny and nicely lit). You've done a better job than i did on my first attempt haha. That S15 is a beast!! Got anymore details on it? I hear it had an RB26 in it! Looks like you stood up on top of that bridge on the straight for the 1st photo? Everytime i've gone to go up there i get told off lol. Lucky you!

Congrats SAU!! Looks like some super fast times from both SAU and RENEW. I'm sure i can speak on behalf of Matt also, sorry we could not make it down today guys. We love you all but expense wise i am broke ($1400 for a new clutch/ clutch change in my evo) and as i live in manly it's a good 3 hour drive, long day walking around, 3-4 days of retouching and editing and for what would of been something like $40, it just didn't seem viable. I believe we are actually helping you guys out by doing such great deals on photos (normally charge $50 a disc) that are not just simple amateur photos but photos that are on par with magazine type photos. We love coming down and having a chat and of course it's not all about the money, but at the minimum, travel costs need to be covered. I hope that next track day we can gain some more interest! We will both be at texi as it's a lot more local so if you want to have a chat just come up to me or Matt (Matts the ugly one!!!!).

Yeah it was good fun man! We went and got harrys after you left and then went to mrs mac and then stood around and chatted. Didn't get home til 12.
