  1. Someone tell this guy he needs new rear suspension otherwise he's gonna leave his exhaust pipe mid-track
  2. Do you know if anything can be plugged in on a dyno and tested that way? I wouldn't mind knowing what mine is running at just to see if its causing a bottleneck.
  3. Steve is their a way to work out what voltage the stock AFM is running out without getting a fancy aftermarket computer ? Also remind me please, what is the peak voltage again for a S1 AFM ?
  4. about 1ft worth
  5. A fair bit more yet.... and I still got the Ex Cam Gear to go...http://skylines.pnc.com.au/dyno-203rwkw.jpg
  6. *smacks himself in the head* .... of course
  7. What sorta power were you making before these mods ?
  8. Yup he'll need a "Torx Tamper-Proof T50 Socket". All the usual places (Supercheap, Jaycar, DickSmith Electronics, Bunnings, Repco, Autobahn) had the sockets but only up to a T40 size. You can buy it directly from Snap On for about $43.
  9. The entry for the EC Trackday/Drift carpark is also the Entry for the WSID Competitors gate (just opposite sides of the road) so you -might- be able to park at the Trackday/Drift carpark and watch some of that and then enter WSID thru the competitors fence (I doubt it tho).
  10. True... I was out with some chick friends afew weeks back and I asked if 1 of them had got any mob#'s that nite from guys and she did get 1... her best friend says "What type of car does he have?" hahah I was like "wtf does it matter what type of car he has..."
  11. Don't forget that the Drift Event is at a totally different venue and not within walking distance of WSID. (WSID parking lot to the Skidpan is a good 1km or more walk).
  12. $150 for the wheel and $40 to get it fitted. An aftermarket Wheel (Momo Race) would have cost around $400 + $50 fitting + $250 boss kit = $700, no thanks. Getting new leather put on my old wheel was going to cost me around $300+
  13. A mate came around last week to show me his new car (I was expecting a Datsun 1600 or something) to find that he'd bought a "Eureka". I'd never heard or seen 1 before so I wasn't sure what to expect. It was a combination of a Subaru RS 2.5L Turbo engine, Volkswagon Chassis, Ford Telstra Steering + Suspension and a Fibreglass shell = a total of 800kg. I've got some pics of it at home, its pretty rough but god damn it pulls the women. We drove 1km to fill up (LPG - $8.80 for a a full tank) and I've never had so many people waving and staring at us in all my life (well apart from when I go to the local clubs.... but I can't help that ). I'll post some pics when I get home before I explain any further...
  14. I'll be there !!! I'm still yet to work out how to clone myself so I might be running between the Twi-light track sessions, Initial Drift and the WSID Drags. Hopefully WSID runs under 100% lighting again so that I can take some pics. Not sure what time I will be arriving, hopefully about 5:30pm until close.
  15. Nope, for my R33 GTS-t it was pretty much: * Disconnect battery. * Disconnect 2 plugs at the botton of the wheel. * Remove 2 side bolts for Airbag (T50) and slide the airbag out gently. * Remove center bolt that holds the steering wheel onto the steering shaft. * Give the outside of the steering wheel afew good hits to knock it loose. * Then just do the reverse to put the new wheel on. Once the battery is re-connected your right to drive off as normal, no "resetting" or anything silly like that. Provided that I had the right tools I think I could do it in 5mins flat.
  16. Installing an Adjustable Ex Cam Gear is gonna easily crack the 200rwkw mark before you get it retuned. Im no expert but are your AFR's still all over the place alittle ? (I honestly have nfi with AFR's). Have you got pineapples in the rear ? Also if its the stock turbo how long do you plan on running 15psi thru it for ?
  17. I have an Organic Sports Clutch and the "grab" point is about an inch from the floor, its awesome !
  18. good question.... ?
  19. Deffinetly the best day as far as quality of cars. Mini's, Ultima GTR's, Porsche GT3's, Corvettes, Honda NSX, Subaru WRX/STI, GTR's, GTS-t's, everything was out for show
  20. decisions decisions.... 4-10pm = WSID Drags 5-9pm = Drift 5-9pm = Twilight Track Event. I know that I will be at Eastern Creek tomorrow but where exactly I have no idea. Does anyone have a cloning device I can borrow just for the day ?
  21. Looks like "Eastern Creek" is going to be pretty busy on Wednesday night with both this Twi-Light open track and the WSID drags
  22. How many sides does your car have B-Man ?
  23. Well thats why I thought that it was alittle over kill what he recommended (but would probably be better off in the long run) just at a much higher price to begin with.
  24. What does the HKS Camp actually monitor? The USA website basically just gives a picture and a price.
  25. Same here ! and being a driving instructor she has plenty of access to the 17-20yo women It's worked too ! But now both my mum has moved down the coast and this other chick is moving away in afew months so im sh1t outta luck now.
