usually lighten and mask. i will be retouching this one. the background is lit differently over a couple shots as I was using 2 flashes at a time. still, there's a few things i need to do on this one to clean it up. need to finish the other 2 cars first though before i go back to it. thanks for the tips though I thought you'd appreciate this set more than most

i've played with Kory's 7d and it's perfect for motorsport. If i didn't have nikon lenses I'd get a 7d in a heartbeat. it's tracking ability and speed is amazing. coupled with some good glass i doubt you'd notice much difference in quality. it's a little beast. I even like holding it it's a good size and shape to hold while on the move.

thanks man Appreciate it! I'm currently using that one as my wallpaper! Had a shoot last night with a rally replica Evo 5. Looked pretty coool cruisin through the mountains. Sounded pretty cool too. I've got 2 more SAU cars to finish before i get to the rest of these, Expect more from this set later in the week, or early next week! Here is something to get you interested though

Husky's R33 with TE37s. Simon really wanted to emphasise the toughness of his ride, with it's fat, agressive offset TE37's and massive exhaust system. I've given it a dark, gritty feel to bring out that mean streak in his ride. a bit of graf over the car as well as behind. Something different. I think I like how it turned out... what do you think?

good shot man. sometimes you can only get one. just hold the shutter and hold it steady and hope for the best ;p good work also that dark shot, not sure whats going on besides the tree but i like it. good abstract shot.

sure. the more dicks the merrier. nice shots serg. i like how you change up the angles and locations. i wish our local had as much potential for locations and angles. Maybe i need some cammo so i can get up the track itself haha

The other night was beautiful terry, did you make it up to Dave for him letting you wear his jacket? I know when I let a girl wear my jacket there's usually some form of payment for the hiring later on haha I'm sure he'd be gentle terry I'm doing a similar shoot this sunday night. Was supposed to be 3 Evo's but one has had something come up and had to cancel. If there's a keen SAU punter who wants to fill in there's one spot available. turned out ok. the pole is ok because it's part of a line, but the tree could probably go. doesnt look hard to remove. but i'd understand if you couln't be f'ed.
