You said this is on a 260C ?, is it a 12 volt, or 7.5 volt system ( coil ) ? the original system on my 240K worked like this, 12 volts on crank, 7.5ish on running ( one wire was built with resistance in it), to get around this , for me , at the ignition switch, there was 2 wires running back to the coil, 12v for start, 7.5ish for run, so I join them together, so 12v crank and run, then I connect my electronic ignition distributor to this, I ran a wire from the + on the coil (12v) to the module on the dissy) it's easy Nigel

If you read the description, it says, To Suit Nissan Skyline R30 Rear (image shown is for display only) <----------- Note.

The early reflector including the housing has squarer corners, the later are more rounded, this picture shows the later type Nigel

What Is An L28 Worth? (F54 Block With N42 Head)
noddle replied to adznight's topic in Classics (1953-1988)
Has it been sitting out in the rain, with no cover on the carby ? if so, you be lucky to get $50.. -
standard S13 are 24.9mm, standard 240K are 21 ish I've been doing a heap of research, it looks like it should fit, so I'm chasing one to see.. Nigel
-
are you saying a S13 will fit a KHGC110 or a HGC110 ? What thickness is it (standard or aftermarket ), since I know nothing about these later cars, is it from a 180SX / 200SX or are the same ? I'm looking for a thicker one for my coupe Nigel

I know what you mean, They don't come up very often. but I did missed out on one in Hobart about 5 years ago. my first (4 door - $1500ish )one wasn't to hard, but I brought that 8-10 years ago (2002) my second (4 door - $700ish )one took 2 years, a old woman had it,( I did ask if she wanted to sell it when I first saw it ),she had her license taken of her 2 years later, then I got that (2008), my third (2 door - $750ish) one took me 6 years to find , turned out my brother knew a guy who had it in his car port for 10 years, I got that late 2009 But I can say, to my knowledge, I'm the only person on the North West who has one ( 3 ). Sorry to say, I'm not selling any parts, as you know, parts are hard to come by, My coupe is registered, and I am driving it, http://noddle.110mb.com Nigel

The four I have were, about 10 years ago, $1000ish for a good 4 door (blue '73) - parts now (was daily drive) about 7 years ago, $1200 for a good 4 door (white '77), - parts now (was daily drive) about 4 years ago, $750ish for a good four door (white '75) - daily drive about 2 years ago, $700 for a 2 door coupe (green '73) - my project car Nigel
-
I second this, you will need a parts car, you didn't say if it was a coupe or a 4 door, if it's a coupe, all the running gear, and the front end of a 4 door will fit. front window back is different. Nigel

for a 240K (C110), this forum has more information than this site. http://www.classiczcars.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=102 Nigel

I noticed no one is putting down what there miles per gallon is, since this is where the saving is, I'm running a L24 inter-cooled Turbo, running EDIS ignition (waste spark), Megasquirt II using the version 3.0 board, running the latest MS Extra firmware, 3 inch mandrel bend exhaust, with a free flowing muffler, and 7 PSI for normal driving, switchable to 10, and 15 PSI I just came back from a trip, 290ish kilometers, I sat on between 105-115k's 80% of the way, and I'm getting 34.34 miles per gallon, or 8.22 liters per 100k's. I'm very happy with this, good fuel economy, and plenty of power, when I put the foot down a little. to get it running this good, I run it lean (2500 - 3600 RPM), AFR sits between 15 and 16.5 (light cruise), EGT sits about 770ish just before the turbo. Nigel

73' 240K, L24, 5 Speed, 2800 RPM @ 100k, my manual say 3.545:1 diff ratio
