Air pocket hey....hmmm 10,000k's in 4-5 months , I have had my car 1 year from yesterday and I have done 13,000k's since Ive had it.

The GTR tank is spose to be about 72L, but when I fill up I put $70 in which fills it up quite full. $70 = 46.6L, is my tank smaller or something??? I usually manage about 380k's, 90% of that is peak hour traffic. I got 430k's a few weeks ago, I was quite proud

Hello, I have this sudden urge to get my rocker cover powder coated and I was wondering how easy it is to remove the 2 side pieces?. I have been told that the front is easy enough to remove and I have had the top piece off in the past. Any helps? Also, anyone got a retail price on a paint-strip and powder coat of the 4 pieces, plus a chroming of the "Twin Turbo" pipe? cheers Tom

You mean the manifold? That will cost a fair bit I think and most people get stainless custom welded ones if replacing usually. Just look at getting from the dump pipe back (maybe a hi flow CAT as well) which will cost around $1000-$1200 for a decent one.

Well, my car had a rebuild by the previous own so theres a few thigns in there that I can't guess the cost of. For me at the mo its.. 1. PowerFC D-Jetro, EBC and tune - $2552 2. DBA4000 rotors and Ferodo pads - $500 3. Accessories (wheel, knob, etc ) - ~$?

Why drive a car you think needs a rebuild, heavy? Do you want to kill it? Are you sure it needs a rebuild? Get it to a workshop so they can pressure test it etc. and go from there.

I actually believe imports are less dangerous than Falcodores/Camry's etc. Performance doesnt just include the engine, it also includes brakes, suspension (to say the relevant least) and if you add that to normal law abiding driving your actually better off arent you. Media spins always portray import drivers as speeders and as if we are always "on boost" and accelerating hard because the cars make a pssshhh noise.....Its sad that they will never have their facts right because telling everyone import drivers are bad people on the roads is much better for ratings. You can also cheat majorly if you run the car straight over the grass just before the second last corner...and also if you full throttle and hug the wall around the Karoussel you get a faster launch out of the corner.
