  1. Its not just the oil in the pipes that worried me, its the way that smoke slowly rises from the exaust when I back it off after reving it. BTW paul, your a tool. I might head down to the plex to watch you get some more 14 second passes.
  2. I was shown a dyno graph of a 180sx running oldish platinum plugs and standard new 4 dollar plugs and the difference was huge!! (the shitty ones were much better) And then another run with new HKS ones, it was like an extra .5hp. My oppinion is just buy cheapish plugs and change em' every service or second service. Also, platinum plugs should come ready gapped. Never re-gap them, what makes them platinum is a thin layer, if you push in a felar gauge it scrapes it off.
  3. Thats awsome, that second lap was sweet. Strich9ine saw my drifting effort on the corner at the end of the 1/4 mile, I wouldn't call it drifting though, more like an out of control 360.

  5. im not too sure, I've had the pipes off quite a bit, when i painted them and polished the intercooler. also had the inlet pipe off when I changed the plugs(c#nt of a job) but theres never been oil in there before.
  6. It turns out I didn't blow the turbo, I blew off an intercooler pipe. But I couldn't see it on the night cause it was under the car and dark. But the turbo is definetly on the way out cause theres oil in the intercooler pipes. I'll drive like an old woman for a month or so and replace it with something a bit bigger.

  8. This is what ya do, grab the most expensive chamios, take it out of the case and swap it with a 4 dollar one. p.s Gold Class wax is the best!!

  11. I was hoping to use the standard manifold, I think grant bojanac can make and install a t3/t4 for around 2k. sounds pretty good for what I want.

  13. Aluminium cools down very fast, the colour will make no diference. Also, water sprays on the intercooler is pretty pointless. It makes no real noticable difference. Well thats my experience, and the tank emptys so quickly. And the amount of power taken away by turning on the air con compresor is heaps, no matter how cool you get the air goin in you couldn't get that power back. Just make a cold air intake with a section of tube leading in from behind a vent in the bumper up to the airfilter. If you have a fmic theres a seperate hole from the standard intercooler piping that is perfect.

  15. Its to big. cant up load it. Thats the reason there that size, and the quality is poor. Macka, set up a camera on a tripod or something and take 2 photos, one with trhe bonnet down, one with the bonnet up. Paste the open bonnet shot on top of the other. Then put the eraser opacity to about 30% and erase the bonnet area. Easy shit. Paul, your a tool.

  18. Hey vspec, where can I get a custom plenum?? The gtst in the new high performance imports has one and it looks pretty sweet. Should be quite a bit cheaper than 1500 bucks.
  19. I was told by john fowler at wheels world that a burnout before hand makes no difference. But believe me it does. The drag wars day, I wasn't doin a burn out and first gear just kept spinning. I then started doin burnouts(blew the clutch) and ran a best of 13.7 instead of low 14's.

  22. There should be excells with huge bodykits, and big stereos, tv's and shit. Lancers with ralliart stickers all over 'em. Accents with checker plate on the floor. That type of thing would be sweet. They should have a comp to see who's boot rattles and falls to shit first by there subs that weigh more than the car. See who cut there springs the shortest, so there 1/4'' exaust scrapes on spped bumps. And they should hand ya a sledge hammer or two when you pay your entry so you can walk round and smash the F#ck out of these pieces of shit.

  25. aahh, I see. Yeah, the gtr r34 died. It looks so awsome though. After each run I saw it sittin there at the end of the track. But my night was shit. Didn't put my stock rims back on. 14.1 was the quickest.
