  1. Explain the reason please?
  2. I don't want to grow up at all! I never had issues getting reamed by cops, it's just that insurance decided to rape me as their 'welcome back' present!
  3. I'd do the same if it weren't for insurance (read my post 1-2 pages back).
  4. But can I bring myself into a fast ford with a slushbox? I guess I'll have to find one to drive and see how I feel about that.
  5. Just did a quote for BF F6, AAMI wanted $1200 without any adjusting.
  6. Yes I did, but it's way too high compared to last year. I wanted to know where the extra $800 comes from, asked both Shannons and Just cars, they said postcode, since when Doncaster East is higher risk than Frankston South?
  7. Seriously thinking about one of these things. Along with SS Commodore. I know I'll be paying through the ass but that's a complete joke, I asked them for an explaination they can't give me a damn good one!
  8. Why the f**k am I getting ridicously high insurance premuims for Skylines from both Shannons and Just Cars? They both wanted $2400 a year for 'highly modified' cars... So I've got to come up with a car that is fun, fun, reasonably priced to insure, and fun.... Suggestions anyone?
  9. da fuq at Shannons insurance? They won't do quote on phone anymore, what?! Just cars want $800+ more per year for basically same car - what?! What did they do while I was abroad?
  10. That's excellent idea.
  11. Yeah, James' one is pretty nice except for bonnet lip (absolutely hate it), has good mods and well priced. Now to find a job when I get home from the UK on Monday night...
  12. Honestly, with amount of 33r's on carsales at the moment, I wouldn't bother importing one. But if you don't mind waiting 3-4 months for one, go for it. 33r makes for a good daily driver and weekend tourer as long your missus doesn't over pack!
  13. Yeah, I've been looking at carsales in last couple of days, and have seen few 33r's for as much as 32r's, that makes 33r better value with added bits such as Brembos, faster attesta, newer/better chassis & motor. I once thought about buying a Evo 5-6 before buying the purple 33r I had, I didn't like how lack of 'character' these Evos have, it's like you know it's faster, better handling etc but it doesn't give you that special feeling when you drive it (that's just me though). Would like to buy myself a E46 M3 but couldn't justify the price they go for at the moment - $35-55k whereas in UK you can pick one up for $10-15k (try getting a M3 insured for reasonable price whilst on Australian licence though!).
  14. Grant likes this.
  15. You're not alone either! I think I want a chopper myself after seeing so many in Berlin yesterday and today.
  16. Hello Mr Accountant, might be back in 2-3 weeks time, gotta explore bit of europe for 2nd time before potentially heading back this soon. Might get another GTR and not growing up at all, if I'm back, I gotta get myself a job first though.
  17. Whack it in and get it tuned then enjoy 240-260rwkw, Harsh did 275rwkw with pods, exhaust and boost restrictor removed on stock turbos. Is the clutch still holding up ok? Yep, it does need more power!
  18. Does it make whistling sound while doing it? If so, read below. Check all the intercooler hose clamps, it might not have good clamping force it used to be. Replace all the clamps while you're at it for good measure. And look for 'cooler piping behind the front bumper (especially LHS) cos they pop out often.
  19. Sup folks?
  20. Standard R33 GTR dumps are fine for 380+ rwkw, I was told.
  21. Nah, don't do that. Leave them on and repair when the time comes.
  22. Same here when I put the Panasports in, every time I'm on break at old work, used to go to the car park and stare at it, usually have shoppers stare at it as well!
  23. Looking good Anthony, I want it back! It looked better than when I had it, damn you tree sap!!!
  24. Germany's quite nice at this time of the year, I want to go back just for the beers. Thinking of Nurburgring or road trip across Switzerland, Italy, Austria, possibly Czech Republic. Need to crunch some numbers before deciding.
