  1. Haha thanks mate, I love the black but it's a bitch to keep clean.
  2. My boat at SAU Qld Happy Laps at QR yesterday. Thanks to #@Cadmoon for the photo.
  3. I can't remember who exactly named it toothless first but when I bought it the headlights were very cloudy, oxidised and yellowly green. Like the eyes of the dragon toothless from "how to train your dragon"...I'm still working on making it shoot purple flames...
  4. Replacing some of toothless' fluids in preparation for laps of happy on Sunday. Keen!
  5. In!. Would you rather bank transfer now or cash on the day? #@Cadmoon
  6. Spotted this lovely example of a BMW magna yesterday near archerfield
  7. Morning all. I'm already at work freezing my ass off. On the plus side my boat should be seaworthy again today.
  8. Wishing my dump pipe gasket wasn't stuffed it would be lovely afternoon to go for a bit of a cruise.
  9. At lakeside My 4th gear synchro was a little rough at high speeds so I changed my gear oil today. Used Redline Shockproof lightweight made a massive difference. Box is smooth as silk! cheering!
  10. Hey mate, thanks for the offer I've already found a 33 as of last week and am picking it up tomorrow. Good luck with your sale. Mods can lock/delete this thread or whatever usual policy is.
  11. In preparation for bringing my new 33 home I removed this sump-hunting monstrosity from my driveway this morning.
  12. I was curious too so I did a little digging on the QLD/TMR site and I found this: Moderately-Powered Vehicle Grounds You may apply for a certifi cate of exemption if the car you wish to drive was manufactured before 1 January 2010 and has: • a supercharged or turbocharged engine, not diesel powered • a power-to-weight ratio of not more than 125kW/tonne • no other features of a HPV listed on this form. You application must be supported by: • a document published by the manufacturer verifying the power-to-weight ratio, such as the owner’s manual or information from the manufacturer’s website; or • a specifi cation information test report. A specifi cation information test report is issued by an automotive service provider and must show: • the name and address of the organisation(s) that conducted the test(s) • the date of the test(s) • vehicle make, model, VIN/chassis number • the vehicle’s kerb weight and maximum engine power • details about the measuring system used to conduct the test, for example, an engine dynamometer." From what I've been able to find a stock 33 gts-t would have around 130ish kw/t if you're going off the factory engine and weight figures from nissan. That power to weight ratio wouldn't classify for an exemption however if you were to put the car on a weigh bridge and run it on a dyno it would most likely be under 125kw/t though. So I guess it's all up to which figures they take into account when doing the exemption.
  13. Probably a bit too much power for me mate haha. This car will be my first import and first RWD so 588 at the treads is probably a little too much for me to handle.
  14. You find one for me! I'm sick of looking.
  15. Hey guys, I'm looking for a clean series 2 R33. It must be manual and turbo. (bonus points for factory silver paint in good condition) Budget is around 10k.
  16. Hey guys, I'm looking for a clean series 2 R33. It must be manual and turbo. (bonus points for factory silver paint in good condition) Budget is around 10k. I'm located in South East QLD but I'll consider stand out interstate offers.
  17. Nick and I arrived kinda late in the day but it was good to meet a few of you guys and I had a ball with Mike taking me for a few laps in the passenger sesh at the end of the day, thanks again for that mate. Hopefully once I sort out my lack of a suitable car I'll be able to participate in these events in the near future. So if you guys know of or see any clean s2 r33s for sale let me know
