i cant trouble shoot at the moment but you need to start in safe mode and possibly install Avast, AVG, or Panda Antivirus and do a scan and get rig of everything if that doesn't work you need to go into msconfig and disable startup items that relate to the infection which unless you know what your doing i would tell her to take it to someone like Inspect-a-gadget << club supporter 10% discounts apply for club members
