i'll have to stew on it for a day or something.. because i'm not exactly sure how much i'll have by then either :-s and wouldn't want to leave you short.

well i'm there during the week, but not at the weekends really.. hmmm.. may be down there this weekend though.

what they said.. if you take the filter off, a reasonable amount of oil *will* come out (well on the GTS-T anyhow, can't see why GTR be different) if its got oil, but won't piss out. It can be hard to screw the new one in with oil over your hands also!

But when you go to register a car in another state. A cop isn't able to look interstate details up "on the spot" on their system (as far as I know).. so how can an NSW cop even tell your car is unregistered on SA plates if they saw your car driving along? When you go to get the defect cleared you need to get a RWC, safety certificate or whatever anyhow. Funnily enough, pretty much all states require you to get RWC in that state when changing the car between states. E.g. to register a car from another state rego'ed in QLD i have to get a safety certificate issued in QLD. If its "defected" and unregistered it doesn't really matter does it? I still have to present a safety certificate to get it registered in the other state. it was only recently that points were transferred.. and then not always that is done properly
