  1. How much to post Justin ? its probably closer to what I want as its to put a 25/30 in my patrol
  2. Hi, Chasing a full engine loom for rb25det prefer out of r33, can be missing coil and injecter part of loom as I have them on the engine already. Cheers,
  3. Hi All, Could not find a better place to ask this if in wrong area admin please move or let me know and ill do again. I have a r33 that was a RB25DE and am needing a wiring loom to convert my patrol to a 30/25 so question is are the 25DE and DET looms the same ? Cheers.
  4. Not sure what you guys are doing wrong but the old 1UZ is one tough engine ive spoken to plenty of people who would even say pound for pound its one of the best engines round. when visiting my bro in Sydney last we went out to the drags and saw a street car (yea yea registered but not practical to drive) pull a low 8 with a stock bottom end 1UZ Anyway interesting result and in a Hiace van im sure its a handful Cheers,
  5. Hi All, As the title states im looking for seats for my 33 skyline its a fairly budget build as I have other motor sport interests just need an update chasing FIA or ADR approved seats to suit 5 point harnesses I have no brand in mind just something to suit my 6 foot 90kg build. If you have anything sitting around let me know happy to pay decent money just cant justify the new prices rather accept faded material or small defects than pay new prices for my B motor sport vehicle. Cheers,
  6. +1 for scotty and he is so adorable all up under a grand to do it properly but I did use a oem fpr kept price down
  7. Nick in answer to your questions they take so called hot air fine that is why you see them mostly installed on the cold side of the cooler my standard one holds 20psi no problem and has for some time now. My afr's are fine surprisingly they were fine when I did this mod and had the stock ecu in there as I needed to drive it from my place to the shed next door to put it on the dyno before I could play with tuning. If there is a n issue with boost use the ford ranger unit that can be put into any size pipe hot air and air density is kind of irrelevant unless you are running the standard ecu if you are tunning your fuel and ignition maps the shitty out-dated afm system is just a voltage signal giving you a reference/load input point of when it puts x fuel in in correlation to rpm ect I am no pioneer with this set up it has been done for years nizpro to my knowledge were the first really to do this and it is a fairly standard mod for them I am sure a heap of other shops do it also, NB they warrant there work you have to fix shit yourself so im sure its fairly well tested. 2nd NB if you are a full hectik kebab eating mofo you can even use an external bov with this lol even better a solid steel intake pipe to get mad dose hahaha sorry just taking piss now
  8. Not sure why it hasn't been suggested but I just went blow thru with a stock afm as long as you can tune/calibrate and it references the right air flow for the fuel required its all good,
  9. Hi all, Ive searched about everywhere but nothing seems to be the same issue that I may have. Doing auto to manual conversion in m s2 r33 gtst bought the conversion kit with absolutely everything down to the ecu came with loom from manual thru to power cable at fuse box this loom has on it Knock sensors, starter motor power, starter solenoid power, 3 cables to connect to manual, power steering solenoid ect im sure I have forgotten a few. My question is I removed 2 separate sort of looms when removing the auto 1 was connected to the auto only and ran right up and pluged in at what I can only describe is the front chassis rail drivers side near radiator. The second loom had all the knock sensors and starter motor crap on it The loom I removed has a lot more plugs than the one supplied with the conversion kit does this sound normal to people can anyone enlighten me or do I have to get the wiring diagram and go over it myself im hoping for the lazy way out and one of you guru's can give me some advice. cheers,
  10. Mate has one on his supra and swears by it not sure what size turbo it is other than f**king huge precision and it spools by 4000 and pulls right thru to 8500 running 20psi As to where itd spool without it who knows but he is areal happy with it compared to his old t4 setup (yea no real facts in that statement but positive feedback lol)
  11. Ill drop a manifold of next time im in the area scott, Id let ya know bout those 1000's I got of you yesterday but there going in a Freddy mani not stock.
  12. As the title states looking for a link g1 hand controller prefer to buy will pay freight hit me up if you can help me out. Cheers
  13. get a r33 turbo itl take ya 12 months to sort all the mods ect and pay for them and in the mean time hit up cars under 1500 on facebook buy some pile of puss that will cost you nothing and just look forward to smoking ya mates who are stupid enough to do what you are thinking about in your opening post
  14. Yea HR32 you were in first with right answer, I figured it out the night I posted this up as I removed back of the cover and it was just written there it is a link g1 gts ecu ive checked numbers and she is fully programmable. I am however looking for a link serial link so i can play with this on me dyno so if any of you have one sing out i only want to borrow it so i can copy it and return. Sorry everyone but no chance id throw this little gem away and the best part was i got it thrown in with a manual conversion i purchased and the guy said and i quote "here you can have the ecu its got a hole in it f**k knows what that's about" i knew there was something about it one doesn't just cut a hole in there ecu On a different note Matt aka HR32GTS where are you located as i may have to drop a sixer of as a promise is a promise.
  15. Well the plot thickens I figured if anyone knew what it was itd be the guys at Nistune Matt confirmed the sticker same as GTSboy and that the case witht he + - same but the inside he had NFI and stated he had never seen anything like it before it actually runs the car all be it rough as I have a few mods that a stock ecu would run rough on to. SOOOOO now that even the experts don't know what it is I actually care and want to know (yes curious) before I throw it out lol Got a 6 pack riding on an answer will drop of to anyone local to me 3804 and I mean local not a hour each way
  16. na it doesn't have it on my 33 ecu I am mainly curious as to why there is the cut out like you can hook up to it as its in the wrong spot for anything I am familiar with. I also did a google images of Z32 240sx and r32 stuff and it doesn't match any images I could find the car it came of was fairly stock as in still had low mount manifold ect so I cant see why it would have any weird ecu in it
  17. Thanks for that GTSboy it has me miffed as a lot of it looks identical to mine when I opened it up but the alloy side bit has a hole in it with a + and - and hole that looks like you turn a dial but in the ecu on the card there is nothing to turn. Well anyone else able to help me with what I have ?
  18. HI All, As title states I bought a r33 gtsts manual conversion and it came with this ecu, Not that I plan to use it was just a bonus thrown in but I am interested if anyone can identify it the blue heat sink looks to be either not original or someone has played with it or just Nissan are shoddy with there work. Has very neat hole cut in it but from my knowledge if a nistune board has been fitted it is the aux board that the interface clips into not where it has been cut to expose the lower board pin like this one has. Anyway if anyone can shed some light from the part numbers ect I am more curious as the guy I bought the conversion of is adamant the car went (he has no reason to lie as I bought gearbox not engine or ecu) and it looks nothing like my r33 one when I opened that up. Cheers lads and ladets
  19. The claim eXquiSit is the taper on the housing itself speeds up the velocity of water however the fundamentals of centrifugal pumps its more something that sounds cool rather than having any bearing on actual performance a water pump in a car is the crudest form of centrifugal pump there is,
  20. Na i havnt tried them yet was hopefull of a local supplier there is alot overseas just my shitta seems to be a one of a kind pile of crap that is differant to every other skyline wiring wise i cant even get a diagram for the pin out so hence i want local cos when they sell me the wrong thing telling me itl suit my car i can take it back No wonder Greddy has gone out of buisness with people making stuff out of there backyards cheaper than they can import it
  21. Hi All, Just wondering if anyone can help me with a local supplier tog et myself a loom extension (think thats the right name) In case my wording is wrong i am installing a piggy back ecu to ym series 2 r33 gtst and dont want to hack up original loom this is a male and female plug goes in the nissan computer and conects to loom with the harness wires about 6 inch long. Anyone know where i can get one without ordering from OS Due to difficulty explainign i have inserted pic of what im talking about Thanks in advance for your help
  22. It all depends what you are keeping and getting rif of as to how you do it ive kept the standard air bleed on my set up as ive tried to go the stock look, I ran a T piece at the rear and brought my turbo water feed around and over the top of the engine as it gave me better angles ect with the braided lines ive used but if your getting rid of the bleed from the stock manifold you only need to come out of the block and run it over to the turbo this makes life easier but be carefull to get all the air from the block. Not sure how to post pics but if you need help pm me ya number and ill text pics or email directif you want more detail ect, Personaly having installed one of these manifolds (i got it new for $149) i dont think there worth the effort they are by no means bolt on if you want a nice neat job ive wasted hours redoing wiring and stuff that you just dont think of untill you start unbolting crap. Cheers,
  23. for what its worth ill go against all coments so far i have them on the front of my 33 (just because i was broke and had bmw wheels with the right size) but after having them on the fron with the stock 55 profile i found them to handle a heap better around corners they are so stiff it isnt funny they were a prick to fit and used heaps of weights to ballance (i do all that myself) i wouldnt go back to normals ever. However if your running bigger wheels then they wouldnt have sidewall flex anyway and itd be a total waste of cash.
  24. i have a greddy hybrid fm set up id happily swap where arer you located and by return flow i asume you mean it connects to the standard engine bay pipes ?
  25. Hi all, It has come time for me to get serious with my build up and wire in the computer however the thought of cutting up my standard loom does not tickle my fancy so... Does anyone know where localy or who could hook me up with a ecu extension harness to suit a rb25det r33 series 2 auto just to clarify http://www.speedcircuit.net/index.php/protege/engine-management/aem-ecu-extension-harness.html Yes i have posted a link to what i want why not buy it from them well im a tight ass there asking price makes me think meh lets just hack up the nissan loom so thought id put it out there to see if any of the enteprising lads and ladies have any alternative idea's another thought if anyone has a stock computer and that end of the loom they will part with for a sixer of beer ill fart ass round and see if i can make it myself. Cheers in advance for your criticism of my lack of interest in spending money and for your help
