as i said it might be all about the tune i got a lot of mods (bigger turbo,injectors,pump ecu etc etc) and get 400... before throwing the PFC in i was getting 250 k's per tank (runnnig a really bad tune and managment) so yeah if i can get 400 out of 220+ rwkw i cant understand why stock or close to stock cars are getting average 300

as far as i can tell its only at prime that the boooo is now apparent "beeee" being the standard noise its always made both at prime and while runnig.. just the noise the pump always makes (gtr pump in gtst) god i sound like a fool :bahaha:

:bahaha: alright 2 tone expaination when i turn to ignition the pump will prime "beeeeeeeee" the problem i am having is its now going a bit slower and as well as going just "beeeeeeeee" its now going both "beeeeeeeee" and "booooooooo" at the same time

how many turbo's are included in the price?

thanks for the reply SK it helps me understand more but dosnt quite answer my question about the 1 or 2 note prime, is it understandable, i know it sounds silly. i have a PFC and the controller is telling me that the injector cycle is working perfectly could that mean that the pump is too? 5 hours is a long time to wait when you're stressed, but i get ya thanks cheif

all cars get different milage. it depends on tune as well, i have some power and still get 400k's turbo cars use a lot of petrol, seriously if you cant afford petrol get a smartcar

hey all. opened up my fuel tank the other day to check the sender all was good, but now on prime my fuel pump is making a sick noise now bear with me here this is gonna sound strange... its usually just a priming noise with one note but after fiddling in the tank when priming it sounded different like a two note slower noise, after driving around for a while i stopped and tried again and it sounded normal again and i was happy but when i got home i tried it one more time and its makeing the bad noise again. am i being overly worried or could the pump be on the way out?

okey dokey still happens with a FULL tank, so it drops ALL the way from full to empty in a few seconds, stays down for about 30 secs then all the way back up bloody thing, at least that shows its probably not the sensor though do you think it would be in the electrics going to the dash/gauge or the gauge itself

i'm slightly worried, i didnt pull anything hard or anyhting... can the fuel pump be buggered with at all from the exercise i just prformed? i know the sound of my car, (you just get to know exactly what everything sounds like) and the fuel pump priming sounds just a little different, like its lower by one octave if you know what i mean. upon first startup the check engine light flashed on for like a millisecond too but i'm chalking that down the the battery being out for a few hours becasue it took just slightly longer to turn over.

well mission unsuccessful its a braver man than me that buggers around in there, got the black lid off with difficaulty, lifted the white lid off but simply could not see in there, shined a torch in with hesitation (but all was good) but there were too many wires and stuff in there couldnt get the white one off all the way, just lifted it up which made evereything too awkward. so its a job for a proffesional for me PLUS i think that might not even be my problem, my prob is the needle has dropped ff past empty but then comes back up intermitantly, might juts be electrics
