  1. if your ecu isnt tuned it shouldnt do much damage at all. if it is i would recommend not giving it a hit.
  2. timing is 15deg for manual rb25, 20deg for auto. the top plug is power to the injectors. not too sure what the bottom plug is for.

  9. those two plugs are for your injectors, the one on the top is the one i disconnect when doing compression tests to stop the injectors from firing. are you sure your fuel pump primes when you turn your reds on? listen out for a humming sound.

  20. take out a spark plug with the coil pack still on it. have it close to an earth point so it can spark, then take your CAS off and get someone spin it while you hold the spark/coil pack close to an earth point. firstly, check if your CAS is plugged in properly.
  21. just checked my breather hoses. both are 100%. im sure its blue and im sure its coming out of the exhaust.
  22. yeah. i did a compression test and it came up fine. apparently id be having oil when im backing off throttle if it was my valve stem seals. can anyone confirm that?
  23. the rings i used were brand new from nissan. they were placed on the right angles too (i.e. not on the thrust side of the piston).
  24. thanks for the replies guys. im going to compression test it today, ill take it for a drive and see if its doing it today, its a bit on and off sometimes. ill check my breather pipe after the drive too.
