Haha, yeah i was a little bit hesitant to go black originally because i thought it would just be too much black, but Im happy now. Yeah it was an ok job for a backyarder, got a lil dust in the paint, some tiny run marks and some of the gutter rashes werent 100% smoothed out but all in all its 1000 times better than what they were so im happy. Im thinking of doing white walls too just to break up the black a lil bit. Gonna be buying tires next week or so, get some pics up then. Cars not moving at the moment so I wont get to see them rolling for another couple of months unfortunately. Might put them on my oldmans xr6t temporarily hehe.

I Bought a set of cheap, shitty condition AVS wheels a few months ago, I needed some wide rims for my car and these were a bargain so I snapped them up. I am currently having the conversion done, the mechanic told me to allow $5k all up, but he's also rebuilding the RB25 with forged pistons etc. I already have all the bolt on mods, which 85% of them are being swapped over, the rest ae going to be modified to fit I believe.

I don't understand how you can consider it laggy? Its a ball bearing unit, that would make it more responsive than the stock turbo. I know it was noticibly more responsive on my car.

Ozmods.com do it for $115 delivered with 2gig kingston sd card, so its abit more expensive then its rivals. Its meant to have provision for 4gig card, full download play support, and some other cool additions. Originally I was going to go the R4 but ive seen a few people having trouble with download play. It got a higher rating than the r4 and M3. Ill order it once I can source a mario party DS rom haha.

Hey all, bought some wheels and need a few fiddly things done. I'm new to owning aftermarket wheels. Firstly 2 of the tires have screws in them, just wondering how I should go about getting them removed and repaired - i think these tires are tubeless and as I said before Im not too cluey on anything to do with these wheels. Rough price? Are repaired tires safe to drive on and do high speeds? one of these tires is pretty much brand new and it would be a waste to have to get a whole new tire just becuase of a puncture. Also looking for a pair of bolt on spacers for the 2 front wheels, anybody have good contacts regarding them? Cheers in advance! Lukaz

My mechanic has told me a stock, healthy Rb25 with a good tune will handle 300rwkw fine. Im guessin that would be if it was rebuild back to standard.

I will keep my eye out for them, if I can find a set under $500 id be happy.

Haha I didn't even think of that, im an idiot. Bit hesitant on them because a full set is on the expensive side and find just 2 is kinda tricky, but I'l keep an eye out.
