Hey guys, hope your all doing well I need some help with my current series 1 R33 GTST, factory manual. Personal Background information: - Currently no license, reacquire on the 6th of december 2015. - Will be on P-plates for a year. - I know most likely that money wise this isn't the smartest play. - Current engine in the car has idling issues and the turbo isn't spooling and boosting properly. Car history: - R33 GTST - R34 GTT Objective: To make my R33 GTST (RB25DET) into an N/A R33 GTS (RB25DE). Problems: - Not sure if its a straight swap. (from RB25DET to RB25DE). - Not sure if i need to change loom. - Not sure if i need to change the ECU. Before you tell me its not economically a smart idea: It's more of a hobby and something I can do to pass time and have fun ( R.I.P to my knuckles, free time, sleep, learning new great swear words.) Things I need help with: Anyone who has the experience or the know-how please tell me what I need to complete my project. Things I think i need: - RB25DE. R33 current specs: - Heavy duty clutch. - SAFC. - Everything else is from a stock R33 GTST. Please help below - and thank you in advance.

Hi guys, Just wanted to add my experience to this post. So far my car has been sourced by J-spec and has now landed in Australia and should be in the midst of the compliance process. I'll admit Ben is a very nice guy to deal with especially at the start and won't run off with your money. However as stated before it is sometimes hard to get ahold of him. Haven't seen the car yet in person, I will have a professional pull it apart to see if it matches everything I have been told by J-spec. After I get a look at the car and get the professional report I'll come back and post a finished review.
