GTS4(SLIP and 4WD lights near speedo)?
chicane replied to luke_3891's topic in RB Series - R31, R32, R33, R34 (1986-2002)
R33 GTS4 owners, do your fog lights (right next to front indicators) work? It seems there is wiring for them behind the light, but theres no fog switch on the stalk off the steering column? -
Electric drivers side mirror not functioning
chicane replied to chicane's topic in General Maintenance
Dave, tnx for your reply.. I'll have another look tonight to see if I can pop it out.. Lenno, Probably suggest you do what Demon Dave has suggested, Have a look at the motor.. I'll take some pics with the digi cam may be able to help ya. As for the defogging, I read in a Skyline Manual that when the rear demister is put on, the side mirrors have defogging built into them.. and just the rear demister button to the right of the hazard switch turns it on.. On a real cold/foggy morning if I park on my lawn, the side mirrors get fogged up - The passenger side one clears really quickly but the drivers side remains the same.. Cheers -

Ey man tnx for your reply.. Any ideas how to remove the mirror? I think I need to get the multimeter out and do some diagnosis Cheers -
Hi All, Ever since I have owned my R33 the drivers side electric motor hasn't worked, and I noticed today that the de-fogging function on the glass doesn't work either. Passengers side is fine though.. Have had a look in the fusebox but it all seems in tact. Any ideas people? chicane :burnout:

Yo PVA, Nice ride man.. The rims look pretty cool but I think the adrenalines are a bit sharp for the skyline's nice smooth lines.. Something like the Lenso Concept 5's prolly are more my taste but hey I love the HR Racing 109's still.. mmmmmmm decisions decisions http://www.donnellans.com.au/wheelsfolder/...cing/hr-109.jpg What profile tyres you running, and what width rim? Cheers :burnout: -

Hi all, After going around to a few tyre/mag places today, seems some places don't seem to care too much about offset.. In regards to maintaining the correct offset for my vehicle, with the 15x6" rims on there at the moment (they have an offset of 40mm), if I increase the width by 1" to 17x7" is this new offset calculation correct? Increase of 1" width = 25.4mm 25.4mm / 2 = 12.7mm 40mm + 12.7mm = new offset of 52.7mm required? Seems a lot of mags i like come with 40mm offset.. Is this OK to use? Thanks in advance chicane :burnout: -

Just spoke to a guy @ donnellans, I think ill go past there on the way home today.. He said that the 5 Zigen's are pretty pricey as they are a fully imported jap rim.. but said there are quite a few other makes which are a bit cheaper with that design.. A guy @ one donnellans said its a 35/40 offset another said its a 42 offset so yeah Hrmmmmmmmmmmmm anyone got any definites on this? Cheers -

make sure you do the diag for the aircon in full sun (on the sunload sensor) otherwise it will come back with error 25.. see how it goes in full sun cheers
