  1. Yeah man, I'm rolling on 18x9 +30 with 235 all round and it fits super flush with guards, could have gone wider in the rear to poke a little but meh
  2. Cheers man, I'd been looking fro bronze wheels for ages but nothing seemed to be the right offset or size. so stoked on these. yeah, when I bought the car, i cleaned them up but just havent satyed on top of it. Ive got some turtle wax 2 in 1 headlight cleaner I think. might give it a crack. unfortunately when we did the wheels they guys notice a big bump in my sump, which might explain why my oil gets a bit warmer than usual. so next on the list is new sump and the cusco drag rod to get rid of that nasty Hicas.
  3. it is scraping a little on the drivers side guard liner so ill just pop it out and modify it a little
  4. What do you think?
  5. yeah dude, they look rad. I was looking at similar work wheels when I came across these. haha how do i upload photos?
  6. So stoked on the outcome ay, like night and day difference in handling going from 19x8 +35 with 4 different tires to 18x9 +30 with new tires. sooo good
  7. They look rad, what are they? I the wheels I got came staggered as well but I opted for 18x9 +30 all round so I could rotate [emoji3] wheels arrived today so I'll pop some photos up later on
  8. Got any photos of what your running now Arctic?
  9. Cheers Arctic! Less stretch than I thought. Looks good though. Anyways problem is solved, FINALLY decided on wheels and bought them. Hoping they arrive by the end of the week. I got work x jdm concept gt5 in 18x9 +30, which is the gar wheel size so pretty sure I shouldn't have to do much. They kind of look like drift teks but they're a proper work wheel which is sick. I'll post some photos when they're on
  10. Looking at going 18x9.5 +24 all round now with 235/40/18 i know it will be a little bit of strech but from what arctic choc has and a few other people in skyline owners forum running 18x9.5 +30 i should sit nicely in the middle of it all correct?
  11. Aren't you running 235 on a 18x9.5?
  12. They only bad thing I've heard is that it can wear your tires out quicker. Way to paranoid to google stretched tire horror stories
  13. What's the go with stretch? I've heard heaps of opinions for and against
  14. how much do you think postage to the gold coast would be?
  15. haha cheers, yeah Im thinking the 9's in +20 would sit heaps nice with a bit of stretch. the only other option is a set of dtm p5 wheels (a replica of the drift teks which are a replica) I found in 18x9 +25 so thats kind of a happy medium I guess? no its just a toss up of what ooks better, that drift tek sort of style or concave concepts. any opinions?
  16. hey guys, Just looking at getting a new set for my 34, currently have 19x8 +35 with 235's all round. I wanted to get some koya drift teks but they only have 18x9.5 available at the moment, a couple of tyre shops have said they'll make them fit no worries, but I'm not to keen on having huge aggressive fitment on the front, I just want them sitting flush. So Im leaning towards getting concave concept CC03's in 18x9 +20 with 235's all round, would I need guard work? not a big deal if I do, the shop will roll them for free anyways. what do you think?
  17. can you get an east bear style bonnet lip for an r34 gtt?
  18. just saw one go for $900 have you still got it?
  19. bringing up an old post but does anyone know if that ID entry code procedure will work with aftermarket keys?
  20. where was the re programming guide?
  21. I might give it a go, when i bought it the car had been sitting for ages and had a cracked top tank. I got the radiator reconditioned and it works great now, but yeah there could be heaps of rust and crap in the pipes. is it worth replacing all the hoses with new silicon ones after a flush?
  22. how would I be able to tell if it was the thermistor? yeah I was thinking it could be a blocked core and the coolant is brown, so maybe thats the next thing I try. I was thinking of trying to un plug the heater hoses and reverse flush the heater core at low pressure. how do you do it with water and vinegar? Ive taken the dash cluster off to check if all the sensors were plugged in, as far as I know theres just one on the drivers side behind a little plastic grill thing. Does anyone know how to get to the blend door? Im pretty sure I can hear it moving when I swtch the temp control from cold to hot but its probably a good idea to double check its moving, does resetting the actuator for it in the diagnostics mode do much?
  23. Hey guys, Ive googled for hours and tried the a/c system diagnostics and have got anything. My heater is only blowing cold air, no matter what temp its on its freezing, I've checked the passenger side footwell, theres no leaking and no gas or steam coming from any of the vents to indicate busted heater core, both heater hoses are warm it, not cold but not too hot to grab hold off. I'm pretty sure r34's use an internal heater tap as I can't find anything at all on the heater system for them, even in the manual, only thing I can think of is that there might be an air bubble in the system but I bled it till there were no air bubbles escaping. so im stuck, anyone got any ideas on what it might be?
  24. On the topic of ecus though, do you know if the nismo fuel pump can run off the stock r34 ecu?
