  1. Ok none of the leading brands NGK Bosch recommend putting anti-seize or oil on the plugs so why would you even when they give you reasons why not too......My thoughts are how can you be sure that the wash, seal, gasket, will be substantial amount contact all you need is a bit of gunk on the face where the gasket will sit for it not to conduct. The thread is there to do 2 jobs conduct and hold in place. Also you know that loctite silver anti-seize is made for aluminium not the nickel. Your better off using graphite 50 anti-seize from loctite. But your choice....... http://www.loctite.com.au/lubrication-anti-seize-4096.htm
  2. Hi Ben can be more specific with your quote I'm having trouble understanding witch side you coming from..... or I've had too many beers hehe

  5. It shits me off to the max I got 5 auto shops in midland with all of them selling the same cheap shit crap. 1. SUPER CRAP AUTO selling the worst wiper blades ever same with tryco and all crap. Seems like ebay got my money this time to some in the eastern states I payed $60 for some really good wiper blades molded into the arm like the holden VF 2. Why can't the 5 shops start selling thing cheaper. And make a turnover on quantity. Otherwise ebay will just keen winning like I saved 30 buck on bendix pads then the guy down the road.
  6. Also I found this from NGK pdf file. Using anti-seize on spark plugs will do the following: Alters the tightening torque by up to 20% which may cause over-tightening (or breaking the spark bolt) Reduces electrical ground contact if the anti-seize is non-conductive or semi-conductive Isolates more heat into the spark plug therefore causing the plug to increase the heat range above specification (can cause detonation/pre-ignition) The thing with NGK plugs is that they are already self-lubricating and corrosion resistant. They have to be installed dry. Never put anti-seize on them. Remember to check the gap! And CORRECT TORQUE ! https://www.google.com.au/url?q=http://www.ngksparkplugs.com/pdf/dyk_5points.pdf&sa=U&ei=rv1OVYmzNZD98QXKjoDIAQ&ved=0CAsQFjAA&usg=AFQjCNEpns05Q0jxFEOWvviPoR09Z_JXKQ
  7. I'm reading this topic and it's great but anti-seize Common! !!!! You got to think that if you putting that stuff on ya threads you start to isolate the plug from ground !! Your coil is powering the plug but can't discharge it properly so the it searching for ground ...... Now it will find ground eventually where you did not coat the thread with. Now it can be a possibility of it electrode erode ya head meaning stripping ya threads slowly. So not a good idea But if you really find the need to put some lubrication on it... use graphite powder. This stuff is highly conductive and it's a dry lubricant. Also do not use copper anti-seize coz it's reactive with alloys and normal nickel (silver ) is not good coz it's got lithium grease (non conducting) Just my 2c Jiffo I agree with your comment and great tips apart the Anti-seize

  9. And seriously you can't just charge on to a fourm like that plenty of ppl are lol at you not with you. so you got to learn. 1 driving skills 2 communication skills that comes with age. My question to you is what's your username meaning is it ?? NSW Drift King or NSW D..K I'll leave that to people's imagination. But posting a photo of your self wow... can't say too much on that one.
  10. Omfg this is hilarious. I think a typo is made...... let me correct that 15k to 18k. OK now some advice kido driving from the age of 13 wow so did I...... let me tell you you got heaps too learn... seriously when driving you have too think that everyone is a dick on the road. Trust me I've been driving for 8yrs motorcycle n car n still learning. NOT INCLUDING P's Now in your 1st year of P's you going to be a Dick. Bend the law. Distroy clutches flywheels etc... and spill beer alcohol etc. Or in your case a milky protein shake. THEY SMELL BAD IF NOT CLEANED. So you don't need a nice car... Holden barina was my 1st trust me we sold it for a lucky $1k after I was done with it But if you really want something nicer then get a r33 GT with some goodies like aftermarket turbo and paint job.. n that's it really its fast enough. now RWD for you..... mate learn how too control a high powered car in wet dry n track after a few years sell it about 6k cheaper after you f**ked it. Once you create skill (few years) then you could have more respect towards a GT-R or a r33, r34 and r32 GT-R But if you really have $$$$ just ask daddy to buy you a 360Z fully worked. That's nice and pussy magnet.
