Relax M8... I'm not running lol. But we are trying to take your dream car to time attack... RB20 worth 15k, and look out. I now officially have splinters re branding [TBH i dont care] Crewing for an M in EM, my mate who peddles the RB20 is TT in a Porsche and I keep driving past the RS Focus and thinking - would have to be a fair thing. Pretty sure that is half way across the top of the sidling... we used to straight line it and since the cut guide lines you have to try and avoid [more dangerous, less fun for spectators and more gravel on the road?]. Our notes still say R2.5in v.imm L4.5 CC. Think Timmy hit the nail on the head... the early cars cut, the ones following are faced with gravel and sometimes hooking is the safest way thru. One thing for sure... some of the service vehicles will be doing the biggest cuts. [shortcuts ] TT -

LOL will be on the way back from Wakefield Park... If you knew just how horrid they are to drive on the road. Besides Octagon has a fleet of M's I believe - sure trouncing one of them will be OK. Can you please put in a good word for me, would like to do that job before I hand my d'licence in. Duncan - everyone cuts corners, some more than others. Besides those short wheel based evo's are a bit more fiesty than the sweet handling Nissans. TT -

Followed the tug boat captain[i know but its all the same] on a few transport stages when he had that VW. He was only on the road when he hit it... I remember at 150kph watching and saying to the Dr. dont think I would like to try to hustle in one of 'em. Would like to get someone on the shox we run in the cup car[when on D03] for Targa. Travel, droop, and all things unheard of... Couple of things to watch for, One is a great little incar gadget that lets other cars know when you stop on a stage - cant wait for that to be incorporated. I makes a Rally Safe. Dunlop has a new tyre for club guys on the horizon too... Less $$$ with out a huge drop in performance. Not long now... Hey BW. You can always come and give me a hand with service. No money, but would be good craik. TT -

Snow... notice on both your vids some issues with your speed feed. Maybe it is not just a high G thing. Good luck sorting that. Hope you can replicate it somewhere to check if sorted - cos 5 days of fuse blowing wont be fun. We did Woodridge in reverse in 05, but not from that far out!!! Makes it a good mix now. -

In 08 we ran Yoki M's I imported from the states. (not 050, but their forerunner). Hope the new ones are better - cos was 5 sec slower on Paradise in the dry than we were D03's [07 intermediate stage wet all the way from the bridge to top of hill) Tyres are always an issue - and when managed the right tyre a huge advantage TT -

Just a quick one on tyres... M's at Rally Tas - hopeless. Buggered by Savage River. M's in TT all the way through. And for those who want to run up front - its a 5 day sprint. Easier to coast when everyone has fall off chasing and you are on shot tyres than make up the time you lost on Wednesday conserving rubber. One day of rain - m's get through TT -

... sets his own personal Targets and is not concerned about what others think.... (Thats what he told me - but not sure if I bought it) The E7 will be quicker than an E9 because of freedoms. So I am tipping E7 Early modern well inside Top 10 O'all. TT -

Brendan Reeves is also involved... One thing from these tutorials is the nav stuff. Having a calm nav because they understand what is required can be worth about 1/2sec/km I reckon Just doing a wooster and dropping in to the other side for a quick peek. Seems the fallout from the showroom change is more a 4wd thing. Guess the no cat rule last year wasnt quite enough to get the 2wd's to the front. I am glad we had a run in the good old days. TT -
Will also fit GTS-t Black or White Gel Coat.... $450.00. + Ft X Tas (Great Rates) TT

Nah... doing a ground up rebuild and looking to do the PP thing. Plus wouldnt mind a few casual road trips like Mt Stuart in the future. Mind you some of the THC roads look trick. (Speaking of THC hang on...) Maybe we have done our last Targa. The last one was what I wanted to do, but not with all the wank that followed. Might even run someone in our car - cos I still like beating the factories (and anyone else that finishes behind us). Six years is a long time and when we lost Bunnings the cost became unsustainable. New challenges I think. The TPCR with the likes of Hooch and A.Lawson seems like fun though. TWP & TWP are on the horizon - but will be modern classic by the time we get there. TT -
