  1. Yeah thanks, will update as soon as it's done.
  2. Boost controller are profec B II, not too sure how too adjust it, so gonna leave it to the tuner.
  3. Turbos are only few month old, gonna stick with them for a while.
  4. Twin cats because it's a Nismo exhaust twin 2.5 inch into 3, still saving up for a bigger exhaust, so this will do for now. Car was previously tuned by JEM and will be on the dyno soon once all the parts are in so hopefully a tune will fix things up a little.
  5. Update: Installed Tomei dumps this week ( Bought HPI dumps but couldn't fit on my R34 Gt-R, 15mm too short, would only fit R32/R33 apparently) and "hi flowed" the twin cats of my Nismo exhaust. Result: Couldn't tell that much difference, low to mid range was still laggy like before, not much untill 5k rpm. The pick up might be slightly better but can't say for sure as I've only driven it for a short while. Best thing gained it now shoots little flames on soft limiter cut. Will be installing intercooler hard pipes next week, hopefully this will make more of a difference.
  6. Price drop to $250 for both or $150 each.
  7. Would be good to see a before and after dyno run if anyone has done it.
  8. Hi guys, so I spoke to the tuner and they were happy to help, we went for a quick drive and he adjusted the value within 5 mins and no charge as well. Seems my initial guess was close, set was bumped up to 37%, gain 20%, and limiter 5% so boost don't drop too much when it hits peak. I've recorded the values for future references. Thanks to you guys for all the help!!
  9. Thanks guys, gonna drive around with the basic settings then and ring the tuner on monday. Hopefully they have the settings stored on their computer. Just surprised the boost controller doesn't store settings with battery disconnected.
  10. Yeah that's the other option, only problem is they are always busy and I don't know if they have to do a tune or not which may cost a bit
  11. Hi guys, so my battery died today and once I jumped the car found the boost controller settings was reset. All I remember was that it was set on Hi setting with dyno sheet showin 19psi that was set by the tuner. Now I've searched the forums and google but couldn't find anything close to my setup. I have stock motor with cam gears, exhaust, haltech platinum pro ecu, -5 turbos. Was making about 290kw at the wheels. Can any one with a similar setup help me with the settings? I've taken a wild guess below, are they close? Set: 30% gain: 10% set gain: 100kpa(14.5psi) warning: 150kpa (22psi) limiter: 10% last highest boost reading was 158kpa(23psi) Any help would be much appreciated, as I don't want loose performance or blow up the motor, please help!
  12. Hi guys, currently being offered a Greddy hard pipe suction kit that replaces the twin turbo pipes and afm intake pipes, just want to know if it will make a difference in my setup ie power or response and is it worth getting. Any one with this kit feel a difference at all?
  13. Hi guys, here we have a set of front aluminum lower control arms off R34 Gtr. Came off car with only 20,000kms, as you can see in the photos they are in very good condition. Was keeping these as a spare but no longer need them. Asking for $350 for both or $200 each, price is negotiable, prefer cash on pick up, located in Ryde 2112. Happy to package for interstate buyer who can organise their own courier. I can be contacted by PM or mobile 0416067895, cheers.

  15. Hey mate still available? Price negotiable?
  16. Hi guys, so took the r34 gt-r to wakefield yesterday for some hot laps. The car goes well with the -5 turbos, but I found the power sweet spot is between 6000rpm-8000rpm. If I shifted a bit early and at 5500rpm it takes longer to get back up to speed. Also on some of the slower corner where some cars are in 3rd gear I find my self shifting down to 2nd otherwise I'll be in 3rd gear at 4500rpm and no power. First time at wakefield with the gt-r (last time with s2000 was 10 years ago) and needed alot of practice, my best time was 1:14, pretty slow I know, didn't want to post in the laptime thread was too embrassed, LOL. Could have gone a bit quicker with my old turbo I guess as I wouldn't have to shift to 2nd gear that much. But in conclusion I can say the lag of the -5 turbos didn't bother me too much on track, felt better than on the street cause I'm always above 6000rpm in any gear. Might go better at eastern creek with less slow corners.
  17. still unsure which cams to get, 250', 260', or 270'? Saw mine's car have 260' inlet and 252' on exhaust, thinking of getting them?
  18. Yeah just waiting to get some more parts before a touch up tune.
  19. Nah, came with car so didn't need to buy it, thought I'd try it out.
  20. Hi guys, quick update. Took the pods off and changed back to airbox and took it for a few runs (taking piggaz's advice). Couldn't really tell if there are any improvements with lag, feels about the same. It's alot quieter though so I'll leave them on for a bit and see. What I did notice is that after the first run I left the car idling for a few mins, then going for another run it felt slight loss in power. It seems that the R34 Gtr power is affected by under bonnet temperature. So perhaps the airbox is better when in stop/start traffic. Will report back with next mods hopefully in a few weeks, just saving up a bit.
