Nice replys guys. I wasnt aware of the exterior looks difference between the V and non-V Spec GTR's so I guess I'll have to check it out. How many extra do V Spec models usually command over a std GTR? I am also interested in ricknismo's GTR but, I dont think he would come down to my asking price (PM sent Rick!) J-Spec have currently got 2 SWEET looking R's just begging to be in my driveway.....GOD!! too many choices.

sleepyboi - Thanks for that link....V Spec or notm that R34 GTR is cheap and hopefully has a good history behind it....will make an enquiry tomoorrow about that one....just wish I found one in Bayside Blue ) darrinspencer - On the site it says "Nismo 320khp Dash which was changed at 22300km and now showing 9387km" which sounds to me like it was wound back? Please explain if I am wrong.... Edit - It may be a total of 31,687 racked up but, it only 'shows' 9,387klms.....I'd rather it show what it's really done...Wouldnt you?

I've seen that one listed @ street machines and what turns me off is the speedo has been wound back from 22 odd to now around 9K...it even says so on the details! It is a very clean looking car though...

Hi all, I am seriously in the market for a mint R34 GTR. I currently am leaning towards buying one locally in Australia unless other owners suggest otherwise as it is alot of money that I would rather have something to show for asap rather then wait weeks/months etc. Just need some advice on what to look for, recommendations etc? I live in Darwin and previously had a R33 GTR and loved it but, now it is time to step u to the plate.

Anyone know who owns that MAD looking Blue R34 Skyline GTR...Saw it on the Winnellie Highway. Looks very smick...Any Details on it?

Ball Bearing upgrades and hence it is a good price I am selling them for...they are BRAND NEW. I rang GCG and they confirmed this and also it suited a RB20 application if needed. Still for sale.

Howdy, Just posting to see if anyone is seriously interested in saving themselvers $$$ and getting heaps more power from their R32 and R33 Skyline GTST's??? I have for sale a brand spanking new GCG high Flow Stage II turbo still wrapped in plastic rated @ 500HP. "The factory turbocharger is a ball bearing T3 sized unit with a ceramic turbine wheel. In upgrading this unit we replace the ball bearing pack with a new one while replacing the turbine wheel and compressor wheel with hi-flowed models." Price is only $2000 where brand new they sell for $2450. Condition is that you have to send me your old turbo or we can work something out personally. oh and by the way.......I live in DARWIN )

Something wrong with your Skyline? Is it making a tinking sound? Want access to a Skyline expert who was tuned by Nissan themselves? I am in talks with a Professional Skyline tuning expert who *may* make a trip up here to tune my car and a few others if anyone else is interested... I wont name who he is but, will mention that this guy is a genius when it comes to skylines and will be worth every penny he asks for. If you own a Skyline GTST, GTR or HR31 etc....PM me your details if you are seriously intrested in *contributing* to the costs involved in having him come up here. He would be coming up to tune my Power FC ECU but, he can fix any small or large gremlin problems you have on your car.

I just recently purchased a Bosch 910 fuel pump for my GTR but, am having a little trouble on having it replace my stock GTR unit. I have been told that I need a pump in tank system and not just the pump itself? I understand that the pump is 'inside' the tank but, cant it be installed externally? Anyone who has a R33 GTR who can shed some light on this would be a 'GOD' in my eyes! Thanks.

Thanks to everyone who offered their solutions and ideas to my AFR problems. well, here is an update: My O2 sensors are not faulty and are in working order. The car came with a set of uni filters which might have had oil burnt onto the air flow meters and screwed up the signal but, I cleaned my AFM's anyway and even though I didnt notice a difference,it was a good thing to do to the car. I have a set of M's K & N pods on their way to replace my uni filter pods. The car is booked in this week to have a fuel pressure check and BOSCH 910 fuel pump fitted. My guess to the AFR problem is that the fuel pump could be faulty. Hopefully the changing of the fuel pump fixes the problem or I start pointing the finger at the injectors or Nismo ECU. I Was going to get a stock GTR ECU to see if it made any difference but since the PFC is only a few days away, I will wait for that to arrive. Anyone have any idea what type of spark plugs are best used on a GTR and the proper gap measurement? I can only wish that I had more then one 4WD dyno place to choose from but, there isnt and I have to put up with the only one we have here including our 'best' available 95 RON PULP fuel. Anyway I will keep you all updated and post up some pics of the dyno run and a few pics of my GTR in the next couple of days. Gav.

I ordered a Apexi PFC with hand controller and boost controller today so hopefully when I get it, it will fix up the problem. I would love to leave it parked but it is my everyday car so, as long as I dont strap it - I should be fine *fingers crossed* I've also booked it in with my local mech who will check the fuel pressures and perhaps give my injectors a good clean also. Any ideas on the right spark plugs to use and also the correct gaps for a stock GTR? I was also going to upgrade the fuel pump to a Bosch 910, is this much better then the GTR pump? 190 vs 210 for the bosch if I remember... I would love to put a stock GTR ecu in but, being in Darwin - not many GTR's are up here to borrow one from. Gav.
