  1. Hey Lee, I've heard alot of good things about Chris from Inline Steering in Queanbeyan. Cheers, Brad
  2. Looked like an awesome day, wish I could've been there.... Next time gadget, next time.... Yay 2 weeks then I'll have new clutch in the GTR and I'll be able to acelerate again!!! Cheers, Brad
  3. Awwww man I can't make it :-( We're having a lunch for my fiance's b'day..... It's probably safer that I don't til I get new clutch anyways.... Happy to donate the 10buckers though.... Anywho, hope everyone has a fun and safe time on Sunday, I'll be there in spirit(otherwise known as the 2 injectors in GM_GTR baby) :-)
  4. That's not good news at all Richard :-( If you need help sourcing parts or need help with anything just let us know!
  5. I took the fiance to the Zoo for her B'day and done the "Meet to A Cheetah" experience.... definately worth the money.
  6. Hey there GM, Sorry I have got back to you earlier but I had a very busy weekend and haven't had a chance to check the forums. I've PM'ed you with my mobile number, just give me a buzz when you get it. How many injectors were you after? Cheers, Brad
  7. I had a leaky injector 3 days after I first got my baby. I took it to DynoTune and they had it for 4 days, it turned out to be a bodgy o-ring and Nissan sent them a set of new ones......except...... they sent one wrong one out of the six, but they didn't work this out til I'd gone out and got another set of injectors...... So if you need a stock r32 rb26 injector just pm me.
  8. Welcome aboard Nathan. Good luck with the car hunting. and like Sinista said 'Stick with the 32's'
  9. I was lucky with regards to transferring rego from NSW to ACT 'cause my GTR was one of the australian release ones so I didn't have to go over the pits. As far as I know you now have to take all imports over the pits. But saying that I'm not sure if you have to go over the pits if you're transferring ACT rego to ACT rego.
  10. And lucky us had to evacuate our building because of a fire alarm :-(
  11. Yeah I was pretty happy about the ACT plates, thought it'd gone already. I was looking at personalised($1800) ones but I could do alot of other things with that money(like replace my clutch :-()
  12. Well my baby has now been transferred from NSW to ACT rego and I have therefore lost my number plates. So if there are any New South Welshman/Welshwoman out in our merry group with a GTR my old plates(GTR OOM) should now be available in the NSW. On the bright side I do have some Y series plates(ends in GT 32R) on order that should do the job :-)
  13. Hey there mate! Welcome to this sometimes weird and wacky group. Brad
  14. Thanks Danooh, I'll keep an eye on it, it seems to be going okay though.
  15. All is good.. I got my alternator out to Nick at National Automotive in Mitchell who replaced the brushes in it and I got it back and bolted back in on Christmas Eve.
  16. May as well add to the Christmas cheer. Three men died on Christmas Eve and were met by Saint Peter at the pearly gates. "In honor of this holy season," Saint Peter said, "you must each possess something that symbolizes Christmas to get into heaven." The first man fumbled through his pockets and pulled out a lighter. He flicked it on. "It represents a candle," he said. "You may pass through the pearly gates," Saint Peter said. The second man reached into his pocket and pulled out a set of keys. He shook them and said, "They're bells." Saint Peter said, "you may pass through the pearly gates." The third man started searching desperately through his pockets and finally pulled out a pair of women's panties. St. Peter looked at the man with a raised eyebrow and asked, "And just what do those symbolize?" The man replied, "They're Carol's."
  17. Don't worry folks. I think that it is the alternator that is causing the HICAS problem. Someone else had the same symptoms. http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthr...5580#post125580
  18. mmmmm found this http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/showthr...5580#post125580 Sounds like my alternator needs a rebuild!! Should be able to get it done before the weekend too!! All I gotta do is get home today and pull the bloody thing out!
  19. Hi all, Need help and advice. I changed my 2 front tyres on my '91 R32 GTR yesterday, from 265/40/17 to 245/40/17. After doing so I noticed that the HICAS light started flashing now and then, didn't think anything of it til on the way home after work it stayed on, also (this may be totally unrelated) I noticed that my battery was sitting at 11.8 volts and dropped to below 8v by the time I limped into my driveway. As soon as I start the car(after charging the battery) I can hear and feel the hicas doing something, but the volt meter and power FC both indicate that the alternator isn't charging the battery(I've never seen an alternator just die). Q1. I did notice the battery problem before changing the tyres, could the Hicas problem expedite the draining of the battery? Q2. Has anybody played with their hicas and if so what can I check(I haven't put into diag mode yet). How can a car bring so much pleasure, but at the same time cause so much grief!!! Much like a woman I suppose :-) PS I have reset the ecu since all this happened and the hicas seems to have settled but I'll check it properly today after work. Any advice would be appreciated. (a not very happy)Brad
  20. Thanks guys. I've checked the fluid and it's all good. It's was getting dark by the time I got home and by the time I got onto the forums to find out how to get into the diag mode I was too tired and way too grumpy to do it. All the tyre profiles are the same. But I did disconnect the battery to reset the ecu and it has seemed to have fixed the HICAS prob....maybe..... will check it out tonight... I've checked all the leads and have come up with nothing, I'll have a look again to day after work in daylight otherwise I maybe searching for a new alternator. I'll try and post in one of the other forums as well. Will let you know how I go... why does all this fun stuff happen around holdiays!?!?
