  1. Now I know why Mary does the camera work, you suck
  2. That would be awesome
  3. Not sure what the question really is. But the Profec will run as a stand-alone boost controller, and additionally with the emanage there are programmable feature like hi-lo remote settings
  4. Sorry for the noob questions. What are the options for an RB25 or RB30 block as far as sumps ? Other than the Hi-Octane one, are there any alternates ? http://www.hioctanedirect.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=67_74&products_id=1828 Or would it be cheaper to use an RB26 dry sump and block off the diff holes ? Is there any reason that you have to make the sump flat bottomed and reduce the holding capacity, or is it possible to use a normal 5litre sump, and then further increase the volume with an additional dry sump tank ?
  5. And you wonder why we give you shit about the VW
  6. Ouch, that still seems pretty expensive, fingers crossed it was worth the $$$
  7. 5 grand for cams ? WTF (and I don't mean the company) Seems the overall consensus is full stand-alone, might be best to hold-off the tune till you can afford it
  8. Please post results in the SAUWA Member area
  9. These are from NSW, seems to be similar results. Maybe there is something wrong with the Qld air, too much humidity ?
  10. Peronsally I think giving Tristan a call, and asking his advice will be the best option I've updated the Consolidate Workshop thread with his details now
  11. Please PM me with updates or changes, so we can keep this thread up to date
  12. Isn't it basic maths ? 620rwhp on 1000cc's =496rwhp(372rwkw) on 800cc's
  13. Why does it need to be a piggyback ? For auto control ?
  14. This is worth a read: http://www.v-eight.com/tech_forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=11&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&sid=1979b4e741bbbf840d0d4a5d7b4c9e09
  15. I can vouch for that
  16. Thanks, I'll add there details today. I understand the idea behind wanting to get info from members, however take alot of the advice with some level of caution, as there is alot of "a mate of a mate of mine had stuff done". Personally I think you'll find that over half of the tuners in WA won't touch the Emanage, which will reduce the pool straight away. WTF Auto doesn't have there own dyno, so they do dyno tuning in batches on someone elses dyno, which depending on your level of urgency to get the work done may be a downside. But amongst the Toyota crowd they have a very good reputation. http://soarercentral.com/sc-forum/messages/287/313271.html
  17. = http://www.fdrive.com.au/products/02/cables.php you =
  18. Whilst the Consolidated Workshop thread was originally posted in 2007, it gets constantly updated with new info as provided by members, as I believe it requests in the thread. The fact that no one has ever mentioned WTF Auto previously is the reason its not in the thread. So to avoid countless threads like this one, it was created so that people could contact the tuners themselves and make there own opinions as to who to use. Please feel free to PM me details (in the correct format) of WTF Auto and I'll add them to the Consolidated Workshop thread to keep it up to date
  19. Big question is who built the engine ? Whenever tuning a new engine there is alot of reluctance, cause when something goes wrong, as is often the case, the tuner doesn't want to get blamed for a poorly built engine, and vice versa. Also, what ECU have you got, turbs etc ?
  20. And from what Gav has told me they've seen a hugh improvement of mid-range, as they've been able to increase the spark plug gap. If I see a similar issue with spark breakdown when I tune on the E85 then I won't hesitate, and will go straight for these
  21. Awesome looking logo
  22. Given that Xspeed are the HKS Distributor, and even they were impressed with the results, I'd say it is better. Worth the price? I'm not so sure. This is a kit after all, and is primariliy made from off the shelf M&W and AEM parts, just with a custom billet mounting plate and some custom wiring. You could probably make something up yourself of alot cheaper. Between the amp and the CDI coils there are $1500US worth of parts.
  23. Here is a link to one of the resellers: http://millennium-motorsports.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_101_127&products_id=100
  24. From what I remember speaking to Gav about it a couple weeks ago, cost is around $2.5k, which almost made me faint. Getting my car tuned with E85 soon, will see how far the 850cc injectors get me, hoping for 500rwhp.
