It started working all day today! I really hope it doesn't keep happening cause I can't afford to spend anymore $$ for a while! Also if I really had to I'd probably use my extended warranty to do so. I wonder if they will still cover it if I say I can get the part?? hmm!

Ok!! Tonight disarmed my car, got in, and due to force of habit I pushed the drivers side lock latch so that both doors would lock, and I noticed that the passenger side latch did not move! pressing the central locking button made no difference. If I manually push the latch it feels as if it is not catching (if it is suppose to) and the door will lock, if I then either unlock with the drivers side latch or central locking button the passenger side latch will unlock fine, just not with my side latch or locking button. Anyone seen this before? is it something I can look at myself by removing the door trim? (Also freakishly the BOSE CD player was just going through all the CDs as if they weren't in there!! but now seems ok! )

Got an AutoWatch 555 upgrade alarm, pretty good, has been incorporated into my existing key, only thing is they didn't hook up my boot! (haven't checked my bonnet yet) going back to hook that up.

Chris once I have time to suss out my config I'll PM you the details, from what I can see the balast units are both there and the cabling was disconnected, plugging them in does nothing after I press the switch in my car (located under the boot release), could be fuse or missing globes, will let you know.

Mine don't either, found a couple plugs unplugged but made no difference. There is a switch in the car, so I'll have to find where the fuse goes or if there is anything else disconnected, plus I can't even tell if there are globes in there!

Mine seems to make that sound every day when I start her up though! Only sometimes it doesn't. Stock one? any you recommend?

Has anyone notice when first starting up, most times for me, and when the initial rev occurs a rattle type sound?? (hope that is a good description!) Also as mosoto stated about when in idle there is a slight rattling occuring, you can here this on the outside on the drivers side?? (sounds like a flywheel type sound I suppose)

Make sure you buy the silver coloured wedge globes too (light up orange), so you don't see the orange coloured globes, finishes off the look

I've read this somewhere, can't remember where now, but you can activate this by a series of button presses on your OEM fob key, I've done this and now it automatically locks, BUT doesn't do this if you've just turned off the car and get out and walk away. I've found that it will only do this if you say pressed unlock at some stage and THEN walked away from your car, about 30sec later it will auto lock. Also note if you have an Autowatch added alarm system it does not arm it. Hope this helps

disconnect the negative terminal and start pumping the brake pedal, should drain the remaining power and therefor reset the ECU, worked for me anyway

Any info in regards to the coupes? I've been looking a set of wheels, 10" on the rears and 8.5 or 8" on the front, offset +22 for the 10" ones according to site. Would like that I'd not need to roll my guards. Cheers!

Yep get that too, mainly my passenger side now, I was under the impression it was to do with when I first brought the car they detailed it a little too much getting that amoral (very greasy) stuff inside so that when the window goes up and down it leaves it's mark. Mine cleans off fine though with no remaining scratches... Also after I got my windows tinted my side has stopped but the passenger side is still doing it!

I've already got my pod and intake tubing install last year, but wouldn't mind getting the pop-charger heat shield bit or something similar to keep most of the heat away from the pod??

I've put the 23rd of May for now, but definitely can't make the 16th.

Hill cruises are good, the night ones are ok but I find at least with the weekend day hill cruises etc you can stop places and chat or have a bite somewhere... have a photo shoot etc...

Ok got my kit the other day, just have to find a spare day to install it. Was reading through the instructions and it makes reference to diagrams that don't exist and I believe would be relevant. It also mentions that you should drain the engine coolant, do you know if this was done on yours Paul, just that the videos and DIY don't mention it?? (As far as I could see)
