Yes you can, but its not good for the enigne as you need to change the injector correction times for cold start and idle, it will run like a bucket of sh!t. You'l need an aftermarket ecu - PFC. You might get away with a SAFC but im not sure if it will help much. If you run the stock ecu with say 700cc Sard it will be dumping shit loads of fuel in as the stock ecu thinks its still got stock injectors, you will need to make correction 440cc / 740cc = 0.59 % so the sard injectors are almost double the size of standard. If you get too much fuel going into you'r cylinders the oil will be washed off the cylinders resulting in scoring and fuel running past you'r pistion/rings and into you'r sump. Fuel & oil in the sump will result in explosion when under heat & pressure. For 2530's these turbo's are capably of producing around 300kw's their for 700cc Sard injectors will be ample. Incase of further development later on, bigger turbos etc.... Hope that helps,

You have read it wrong or i have misinterperated what i said, What i didn't mean to say is that he needs headwork done to be able to run Arias piston's and GTR rods, what i ment to say is that if he's go to rev to 8,000rpm which is what GTR rods are made for then headwork will need to be done. Why does it need to be done, because the standard valve springs are not ment for 8,000rpm, standard cam's will run out of puff etc. Nat

Did anyone mention Arias pistons and GTR rods ? :wassup: GTR rods are probly the best deal you will find as an upgrade for RB25, they can handel 8,000rpm aswel. - Your RB25 head will need work done though.

Hey Guys, A question about the test and tune going on in april, does everyone meet up at a certain spot or does everyone just make their own way, becuase i have no idea where im going in brissy would it be possible if i could follow anyone from the GC Also can a couple of you guys on the GC that are coming to this test and tune pm me with you'r PH incase i get lost ? I don't know my way around brissy so i'd appreciate if anyone can help me out Here's the plan: leaving on the 8th so will be in brissy by late sat night which is the 9th and will be heading towards the GC on the 10th. Then on Mon/Tue - 11th & 12th my car is getting tuned at Subzero and then willobank wednesday. The o2 sensor controls the A/F ratio's and this only happens with closed loop enabled on the FC HC, with closed loop off it purly runs from the map load points. If you were refering to closed loop mode then this is really pointless as the standard o2 sensor does not act very fast to high RPM, its known as Slow & Narrow and inless you have a wide band lambda sensor the A/F's wont be change very accuratly. Eg: Closed loop is used for mainly cruising tol lean the a/f ratio's out for better fuel ecomomy but this happen's after a few min's of cruising at the same speed. Nathan

With power FC for standard injector's you just set them back too 100% and 0.00ms as long as its a RB20 PFC.

Take the spark plug out of number 6 & 1 cylinder and check for lots if oil, if the plugs are wet with oil then for sure you have blown your ringlands & maby a hole down the side, Don't drive the car any more as it will only do more dammage. Time to chuck in a set of forged piston's. Nathan

HKS & Garrett make the same turbo, HKS 2530, 35 & 40 Garrett are named as the 440hp or 380 hp turbo etc.... GT25/30 I'm not sure what the exact difference's are but the exhaust housing on the HKS is different meaning they modify it to their standard's, and print the name HKS on it . HKS turbo's are pretty much garrett with a few change's. It doen't matter what you get, go for the turbo that you can afford - Just make sure you don't buy a $800 one from ebay. Nathan
