A couple of weeks ago i said i got a new chaser JZX100. I didnt have pics at the time, coz its in japan. Now i got pics. enjoy. for some reason it has a vvt-i head, but its a s1. i dont know . . . oh, and before you laugh, yes it has the optional woodgrain trim, instead of the carbon fiber trim.

Selling these parts because I'm selling my car. New Chaser is on the way. Parts are for an R33 GTS25-t Series 1 Apexi PowerFC (never used) - $900 Apexi AVC-R (never used) - $550 Bosch Fuel Pump 040 (never used) - $200 Nismo 320km/h Dash with 5309kms on it - $650 Stock Cooler, piping and Blitz BOV - $100 never got round to upgrading it all. Yeah he said he'd get pics to me ASAP. I think I will need wheels. I'll see what happens closer to when it gets here. It has pretty simple 6 spokes on it. danny might be able to find some wheels for me for compliance. dunno yet.

I've decided to say goodbye to my skyline. either that or turn it into a rally car for weekend use. The reason being: I bought a chaser yesterday. It only took about 4 weeks to find one and win it (at auction). But the patience has paid off, and now I have a white (pearl?) JZX100 Manual, getting ready to be shipped to its new home. Its only a series one, and a '96 model, but still teh JZX100. I had to go older to be able to afford the manual. theyre in high demand and not easy to come buy. was bidding on maybe 8 a week, and just missing out. I dont have any pics yet, and wont for about another week. Apparently its "Golden Week" in japan, which i figure is just a week of public hols. once i get better pics ill post them. I only have the ones that came with the auction sheet. The only thing now is to wait...and find some sites that have parts for these cars. they're harder to find than fruit in a fat kids lunch box. I imported it through imports101, and recommend them to anyone thinking of importing (or again). anyway, just thought i'd let you all know. its no 34gtr, but its enough to piss off alot of V8 lovers around my town. and theres a lot, i live in bathurst.

So, driving home from work, 12:30ish, coincendently my place is through the main, so i do one. Saw some ricers, some Commonwhores, and a nice 4-dr r32. I gassed it a bit, nothing stupid (although all speeding is stupid, right?) probably got to 80 tops, in a 50 zone. Then im at a round-a-bout, about to turn right, and 2 lights come screeming up behind me. Just regular head lights, nothing special. So, as you do when lights nearly hit your arse, you slow down. I turn right, exit the round-a-bout, continue on my way. The car follows me about 100meters, then the little blue and red come on, from inside the dash. Unmarked cop. In a Magna. (ooooh how i wanted to punch it) The dude gets out. asks me the speed limit. asks me why i was speeding. I give the usual "i have no excuse, officer". Then he asks, "is there a number 50 between 40 and 60 on your speedo?" Anyone who has a 320 Nismo dash would know there is no 50. but i let that one go. not worth it. He takes my license, comes back 10 mins later after sitting in his car, come back and says theres no p plate on the back. i didnt know that. then he says theres a infringement being sent to my place for, get this, "EXITING A ROUND-A-BOUT WITHOUT PRECAUTION". He says a couple hundred, maybe 2 points. I accept this, figure its his word against mine. But its his job, so he know whats what. no point arguing. The bit that pissed me off is that just before he let me go, he says "You should be careful. A car like this, you on your p-plates, your bound to get targeted." WTF is that? Fair enough what i was doing was illegal and wrong, and i deserved to get pulled up, but saying im getting targeted anyway?!? I thought that was crap? no discrimination my arse. Anyway, thats my story. wanted to vent it somewhere. and for anyone who wants to post and be my dad, dont. I know the law, i know when i broke it, and i know when i put people in danger. and it serves me right for showing off. thanks for reading.

the only s15's eligible for import are ones produced between 98 - 00. i guess a 34 would be better. same dates, bigger engine, more room. thanks for your input.

Has anyone on here, or know anyone, who has imported an S15 Silvia? I'm looking to do it as you can import them made between 98 and 00. Ive been quoted about $28k on-the-road. If you look around you could probably find an aus. release for that much. thing is, i didnt want to spend that much. was looking more around 25 and lower. and thoughts?

Hey, i think theres something wrong with my diff. the light on my dash that says A-LSD comes on and stays on. I have a NISMO 320km dash. im not sure if this light is on the orignal. its on a r33 gtst. anyone know whats wrong/how to fix it? im not driving it til i know what the prob is, too bad its easter lng weekend. i cant ask a mechanic. if anyone knows why this is happening could you let me know. thanks.

Hi. Im thinking of spending $5k on my R33 GTS-t. So far it has POD, 3" zaust from turbo, 'cooler and is lowered with mags. Any suggestion as to what to spend this $5k on? i admit i dont know much about this stuff, but was thinking maybe new turbo, injectors, fuel pump, computer etc. does anyone have any advice about this stuff? brands, sizes etc. thanks for any help.

At the moment ive got 3" turbo back, HKS Pod and Intercooler. Standard Turbo. Im looking at nengun for the parts mentioned. anywhere else to look? nengun dont have bosch. If i do get a bigger turbo, the injectors and reg. will be needed though, right?

being farely new to the skyline scene, or perfomance in general, im in need of some advice. Im planning on doing an upgrade to r33 t. So far im looking at; - Nismo Fuel Pump - Sard Fuel Regulator Type-R - Sard Fuel Injectors 550cc this stuff im pretty sure i want and am going to get. the problem is the engine management. I dont know squat about it, and im happy to admit that. Everyone seems to have an Apexi PowerFC. But now i read the thread at the top of this page and see the Greddy E-management. My questions are these; * Am i missing anything for this upgrade (fuel wise) * and which is a better computer for my needs, either out of the two mentioned or if there is something better i've overlooked completely. If anyone can shed some light on my situation it would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, im just wondering if anyone knows how to (easily) remove the perspex light covers on the front of an R33. Ive seen it done, but dont know how to do it. Just want to know if anyone has done it so im not in uncharted territory and somehow break it. Any help is much appreciated.

ok. ive attached some pics. the red tubes are the new ones. theres one red tube going from the stock BOV to the manifold. im pretty sure thats right. then the other one goes from the boost controller over to a vacuum canister. can someone plz let me know if this is right. i wanna drive my baby without thinking she's gonna pop something on me. also coz shes heating up so much i dont think its right. or maybe its in need of a serious tune

ok. i plugged the tubing from the boost controller into a tube comming off the vacuum canister. she drives, and nothing has blown off yet. It feels different when i drive it. Theres little-to-no boost in 1st gear, but it second you can really feel it sit you back in the seat. The wierd thing is, it was opposite BEFORE i changed anything. Second has a flat spot, and first responded really well. is this normal? does anyone have any pics they can show me of what it SHOULD look like? im gonna try find a digi and post some of my own.

its not a TRUST kit. it came with a little T-piece for tubing, and i havent attached that yet, and im not sure where it goes, would that help at all? i think welding and drilling is the go. ive been told its hard to weld onto aluminium, this true? i dont know welding, which is why im not gonna be doing it. thanks for all you help, ill let you guys know how it works out.
