We've decided to do a 3L Conversion at Micks Motorsports (similar to Pawel's) ... should be fun
Watch out Eastern Creek !!! :shake:
I emailed Tim (horse power in a box) about 2 weeks ago and asked for more info and prices heres his response
WE have the units in stock at a discounted $1395 at the moment.
They plug straight in to your loom, replacing your ECU.
You only need to run a vacuum hose from the ECU to the manifold and one wire to an air temp sensor which is $44. I do my air intake kits complete with K&N filter at $395, they are a nice tapered intake , that replaces the airflow meter.
The Microtech has a boost contoller built in and comes with a dial for the boost adjustment, it has adjustable idle steeper motor control, air con' idle control etc etc so the car will run like factory. The Microtech has a very good base map but may require fine tuning on a dyno locally. Power gains are typically about 20KW at the wheels on the same boost when using this over standard.
Regards, Tim.

Thanks to Craig at J-Spec Imports for his excellent service, our car has now arrived in Melbourne. Should only be a couple more weeks.
Thats the poblem Shell i'm quoting him here
I believe that your car should have left Japan already, but that does not mean that it has ..
It just doesn't seem right
We have recieved replies to our emails and telephone calls - but unless we make the contact first, we are not contacted. These replies are non-committal and they also advise us that the information we are seeking is not easily available to them.
Has anyone else experience this type of delay?
How long did your car take to be shipped from time of purchase?
At this time, we don't want to name names, as up until the purchase of our skyline, the service we received was acceptable. Though, if three weeks turns into four weeks ... watch out!
Hi All
We are using an "Importer" to import our Skyline, which we bought at Auction in Japan. We made payment for the vehicle three weeks ago ... yet, we have not been advised of any further details (ie. shipping, estimated arrival to Aust.) and when we ask, an answer has not been forthcoming.
Has anyone else had these problems?
Brett
