mine WAS very frk loud but i am temporarily trying the airbox with a new filter - back to the pod again in a couple of weeks. Most POD's are loud in skylines I think, except Ash's

guys you are missing my point, I did not say "it was illegal to put a sticker on your rear quarter window" I said I have heard its illegal TO COVER UP THE GLASS STANDARDS sticker its about 2x2cm in size. These standards [including labelling] are part of ADR[egulation] and if your car can be shown to NOT comply with ADR's guess what? Defect! read my post again if you must...its just a warning. Someone told me about it at MAS when I was applying my 3/4 window stickers obviously i didnt cover the labels on mine. and I dont think you can do this either "surely they let us tint rear quarter and back window as dark as we like" If you read through the regs on vic roads website you will find that a normal private use vehicle must have a minimum 35% light transmission on all windows - with the exception of the front w/screen which is obviously a different case...

Hey nice! I dont mean to put a downer on it but I have heard it is illegal to blockout the sign which has the Glass Manufacturer's Standards Number on it! [AS XXXX etc]... you may want to check it out with Vic roads, or maybe not - up to you. Either way they are nice stickers. I believe you can request them in white like we did for our www.skylinesaustralia.com stickers for MAS. Same place

HEY, my last car was a Pintara [TRX] Am I DOOMED @ 29yo already I get BOV'd on too, usually P-Platers, not always. If its not a P-plate its a WRX or VL, maybe the occasional skyline I am willing to bet that most of us on here, round my age and younger are not going to lose our pashion for fast cars the minute we hit 40 or 50 or even 60! Its all relative to where you live if you ask me - You guys could have neighbours around the corner with these cars and you are seeing like the same handful of cars all the time. I know I see a white 34 GTT in the city every week but I dont say its common unless I KNOW 100% its a different one each time. Consider the fact that people who use their skylines for commuting - they are gonna be at the same place at roughly the same time each day and [you guessed it] you are there to witness it again. Only when you can fully distinguish between each car can you say [effectively] that "they are common" or "there's heaps of X around these days" blah I agree with Predator, I just like to drive mine and if I see a few skylines on dandy road [very popular road for traffic ] or whatever I think - nice [better than everyday stuff].

in case your original question wasnt answered yet CALDER is heaps closer to the city than winton - winton is like a 2+hour drive. Comparatively, Calder is bout 30 mins from city...
