  4. Hi Guys, After 6 years Ive come to the decision to sell my car. Up for sale is my 1996 Series II Nissan Skyline GTS-T . Purchased the car direct from the importer (Powerplay Imports). I have owned the car for around six years and have always looked after it. Unfortunately I just dont use it enough anymore and need the money to purchase a small business. The car runs just aswell if not better than the day I bought it. Rego till December 2012. MODS: -New DBA slotted rotors on all four corners with Bendix ultimate pads. - New Koni Sport adjustable shocks on lowered king springs. -Xtreme Heavy Duty Ceramic Clutch -Just Jap front mount intercooler - Full turbo back 3 inch exhaust ( Not sure what brand came from Japan) - Turbo Smart Stealth plumb back BOV - Rspec Fuel controller - All tyres with 90% tread Engine, turbo and boost is standard and oils changed every 5000kms. Also just changed spark plugs end of last year. The car has some minor scatches to the paint work but other than that is in great condition. I keep getting an error when trying to upload pics so all pics on my carsales ad: http://www.carsales.com.au/private/details/nissan-skyline-1996-12337255?base=1216&vertical=Car&eapi=2&page=1&sort=~Price&cr=11&__N=4294933106%204294950381%201622%201246%201247%201252%201282%204294963846%204294963593%20898%201216&silo=Stock&Range=Price:Min,Max~1 Send me a PM or you can call me if you have any questions. 5. hey Liz, Long time no speak you still on here? Yeah Im getting some strange looks at the lights with my car chirping to the indicators.
  6. G'day fellow Skyliners, I just have a quick one which Im sure some one will know how to help. I have been walking to work for the last 9 months and havent been driving and during that time my car battery has died (obviously). I have jumped it and all is fine car starts no problem however when im driving and I put the indicators on at the lights my door locks start moving open and closing and the alarm chirps in time with the indicators lol its hilarious . Car runs fine just a strange electrical problem. I'm guessing it has to do with my car alarm which is connected to my central locking or the alarm battery may be dead. Any ideas??
  7. gday mate, Is the front bar still available?? If so ill give you $250 for it to clear some space up for you. PM with a response. Cheers Michael.
  8. Been awhile since ive been on one of these....put me down.
  9. Gday mate, im interested in your rims. How much rubber is left on the tyres?? Cheers
  10. Gday mate, you can try "unique autosports" I know they have that front bar but you might want to check if they ship to the US. I think they will. check out there website at nismo.com.au
  11. The ultimate sleeper. I have driven this car and its simply bullet proof and VERY fast not for the faint hearted. A very good buy at that price.
  12. RIP Brocky. Its a very sad day for all Australian motorsport enthusiasts.
  13. Nice Tutorial mate, Just a note, when I did my install I actually didnt take out my headlights, radiator fan or ac. It might be different with your ARC kit. But you should be able to take off the steel support bar first with the front bar on it then un clip it for cutting once its off the car this will save you a fair bit of time. But like I said it might be different for your kit. Cheers
  14. Is your carpet wet inside the cabin around the front passenger side? Does it smell like coolant inside the car?
  15. Whats up Lizzy, Im writnig to you from sunny IBIZA of the coast of Spain (sorry had to rub it in). So the skyline adventure comes to an end ...... I remember when I gave the first taste of skyline heaven a couple of years ago and now its all over how time flies. Whats on the agenda, saving for a track weapon?? I know you well enough to know that you''l be itching to drive something quick soon enough. If want to buy something for the track to learn on for good value for money go open wheeler formula ford or similar. Good luck with it and i'll see you soon.
  16. Oiya Phil, Im writing you from IBIZA bro....This place is of the hook. Sold the beast aye. You're gonna be itching to find something like that to replace it. See you in a week and we'll catch up.
  17. This car is not for the faint hearted. I can vouch for this car as the ultimate sleeper. Very fast and reliable.
  18. What if you take your car to the odd track day?? Might look stupid in an Excel but look at home in a skyline. Do you prefer 20 inch chromies and airbrushed bonnets??
  19. Is this still on ??? Coz Ill be there. Love the wet!!
  20. Exactly what inark said, the point of the clip was to examine the potential of alternative powers sources other than fossil fuels. One day there wont be any petrol to burn and we'll all prob be driving these 11 sec things. Another thing to consider is the price of petrol versus plugging your car in the wall for a few hours. As time goes on and technology progresses the weight on the batteries will come down aswell as provide more power. Also there is no advantage, the power to weight is about the same anyway, WTF are you guys on??
  21. Mate, it might help you to put specific details so you dont get asked by a thousand people. And is are the 7.5 inch Allround or do just simply dont know? AND HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT FOR THEM???????
