Hks Triple Plate Clutch Price Drop
Turbz_13 replied to vin's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
is it for a late model or early model r32 gtr??? cheers -
sounds fairly similar to my rebuild i just recently had done. my cars making 239.8rwkw's on 14psi. im running a haltech e11v2 with boost solonoid and 3bar map sensor. r34 gtr turbos(non steal wheeled, hence only 14psi) should make 400awkws with the correct bolt ons id say with ease(not talking bout my car). ie bigger turbos, injetors, fuel pump/s, decent ecu, cooler etc. ill rephrase that, that bottom end should handle 400awkw's

hey hart, its james, nice car!!! gonna be great when ya get it on the road!! the gtr is at blackwood dyno at the moment getting the haltech put in! i reckon i told ya on sat night when i saw ya. showed tommy ya car and he liked it!!! will have to get him to bring the supra up and ill bring mne up and we should go boosting. leagally tho!! well mate cant wait to see more piccys and it when ya pick it up!!!

Gtr R32 Intercooler
Turbz_13 replied to godzl1975's topic in For Sale (Private Car Parts and Accessories)
whats the flow like. and what kind of power could ya see with this?? cheers -
go a haltech interceptor if u are going to choose a piggy back unit, they would b one of the best choices. include the boost controller
-
yay something decent at my hometown! do i get special treatment in the gtr? just joking
-
bump

i am about to have a haltech e11v2 installed into my r32 so i can let anyone who is interested in them how it goes. best choice i say! emanage are piggy back units rnt they? i would go a pfc over an emanage personally.
-
glad i found this topic!!! just bout to thro a haltech into the car and then lookin at turbo options of good power and drivability without having to increase the rpm! was lookin at the gtrs hks turbos
-
i am in the same boat at the moment. im throwing up between the haltech interecptor, e11v2. and the power fc and d-jetro unit. all including the boost controller/solonoid. im leaning towards the e11v2 but due to affordability i may have to go the power fc's

What Would You Gtr Owners Do: Trust T517z Or Garrett 2860r?
Turbz_13 replied to JUN R33's topic in Engines & Forced Induction
what about hks gt-rs? what are they like? -
nail 1st no traction change to 2nd no traction thro the rev's and change to third and wheel spin for a moment . but mind you i did this before my rebuild. i think i have only boosted it once since i had the engine over hauld.

with 255's on it is just great fun. none of this front wheel controlled little bit of an ass slide. pull the fuse and hang it 90 degrees to the curve
-
haltech interceptor, a great piggy back unit that will make 300rwkw's also there is the boost controller solonoid which is is less than half the price of the pfc boost controller
-
just wondering how many of you guys with the 4wd system drive it in rwd most of the time. buy pulling the fuse, a swith or how ever you do. i have been told that it is better on the fuel just woindering if that is true as well cheers, james

ah so i may have been told a load of crap. therefor the crank on the right hand side(of the picture) is the type of crank that is in my rb26(older 32 gtr)? because i was told that the oil pump drive widths were exactly the same, just the newer one sat further out from the block, hence the witness marks on the r33 gtr pump that was in the car when i brought it.
-
what sort of oil pump was the first picture of the drive out of? i understand what ya saying. but dont the early r32 gtr oil pump drive sit alot closer to the block than the ones that require the collar? and with the collar does that require the crank to be machined then fitted or does it slip over the original drive?

got a haltech e11v2. easily run 500rwhp if you want to spend 2-3k. they are great ecu as well. for an extra 100$ ya get an closed loop boost solonoid/controller. and i believe you can get a plug and play loom for you car. i am currently looking at the same haltech. and if i can afford after the bills are gone then im going it! i hear the haltech can contriol almost anything in the car thats controlled by the ecu. the haltech interceptor(piggy back) is also a great choice but probably be best going for a full ecu. i have a friend that had an e6x installed in his car and said thats the best thing he has ever spent his money on. before that he had a EMS
-
the haltech interceptor will run what ever you have. it uses your standard ecu so if thats running Sequentical then yeap. gives you ability to tune fuel and spark. and boost if you decide to go the boost controller solonoid. as i currently looking at the interceptor for my car. and looking at the e11v2. for most 6 cyl nissans as they have a plug in patch loom so cuts down the instalation time but not tuning. but in total is about twice the price.

i fully understand as i have missed gears before and it hit the rev limiter. which is just over 8000rpm in the 32's i thought. this was before the rebuild. but dont most decent engine management systems these days have rev limiters as a function, im sure the power fc does. so to avoid over reving wont setting the rev limit at say 7500rpm work in the case of missing a gear?? cubes what typre of oil pump are you running? you have a high powered engine?
-
not at the moment, the rebuild burnt a hole in my pocket. but i may get the crank and oil pump together. then just have the sump pulled off and the crank changed and oil pump changed. may even get a harmonic balancer, but see what happens. as i have NO intension of reving much over 7500!! well not for the moment anyways!! but wont they require the balancing???
-
the engine has the lot exept the new oil pump, well it does have a new pump. just an OEM one. i was running out of fund with the rebuild rather quickly so an oil pump like a nismo, trust, jun etc was out of the question. wasnt too keen on the n1 as i have heard about 50% of them that are installed seem to fail, (i have heard this not saying its the truth or they are bad or what every). which actually turned me off the path of using one. so rather than wasting the cash having everything prep'd for an n1 oil pump and it failing the standard pump was decided. as im not looking at increasing the rev's over 7500. it was always out of the question in my mind to increase it that far. eventually if i decide on going big power. ie 400+kws at the wheels i will have to budget to replace my oil pump with a decent name one. and i guess then i will need my crank collared as well. so im guessing another engine out job. so 5k for the lot this time?

my all time favourite car every!!!!! the f40 (drools). think they will swap me for the gtr? they r the same colour hehe! cant believe there is one in adelaide and an enzo in melbourne. wtf all these amazing cars in australia!! i thought that ya had to be selected by ferrari to own an enzo cause they were a limited make
