  1. My wheel sensors are fine and working, atessa not showing any faults with them. bleed system again, the only time 4wd seems to work (well at least warning light goes out and torque gauge works ) is when I disconnect the bleed connector its doing my head in
  2. Thanks Snara but how are u leaving it connected if it’s removed, if the unit is removed the plugs that were plugged to the abs unit have nothing to plug into. and mine is a 32 so most likely different anyway
  3. Hi Guys, Before you say search threads I have both here and on UK skyline forum. So removed ABS system with a gktech abs delete kit, fitted perfect, my brakes are no good any due to big cams etc and I have kept all standard gear if one day I want to refit. Also fitted a new transfer case, and bleed it all up seems good, now have 4wd light staying on, check attessa ecu for fault codes we had 3, 2 were easy fix and one has us baffled, it's error code 8 being "abs actuator motor, motor relay or circuit. We can't figure out how to make this go away, it's like it needs the unit connected to delete this fault but why? Maybe we need to make it think something is there by bridging wires etc? Done plenty searches and there is topics on this but all very confusing, any help would be much appreciated

Hi All, Thought I would share my GTR as I get sent a lot of PM's with questions etc. happy to help anyone out, I'm new to GTR scene but not RB's having owned some big power RB30 VL's in my life, rwally enjoying the change but the do hurt the back pocket lol! Lot people will probably know this GTR plates " HANIBL " has been on the Motive DVD GTR vids etc, was originally built by Team Karam with a straight 26 setup and then the owner went all out which when I was lucky enough to scoop it up when he sold it on a spare of the moment decision just after it was put back on the road with the new setup. Quick run down on the car: 1992 GTR fully resprayed in original silver by 2SUS RD diesel block, half grout, Nitto 3.2 stroker kit, full CNC 26 head with head sealing rings, billet plazmaman 12 injector inlet, 6 boost manifold with precision 8285 ( recent addition bought it with a 7675 ) 290 kelford cams, Elite 2000 ecu, mechanical fuel pump, external wet sump oil pump, Al's Raceglides AWD turbo 400, Quaife front diff, billet axles, full IHRA spec chromoly cage list goes on. Car made 1183hp @ 45psi as a manual, car is currently being tuned by Ben D"Annello in Melbourne after some updates, we found the old cooler was no good so since upgraded to a plazmaman pro series 100mm cooler with immediate results, now just upgraded some wiring etc. and hoping to finish off the tune in the coming weeks, currently on 38psi has made 1050hp or 778rwkw thru the auto but some trigger miss count issues have held us back from turning it up or adding the timing it wants hence the wiring upgrades. My aim for the car is just to run an 8 sec pass, everyone will say it will do it easy but I have had the cars in the past to do it and one way or another it just hasn't come together, so fingers crossed it will come together this time around, the car has no expense spared on it, I'm very fussy so plenty left to do but that's the enjoyment of owning a car.   6. I have some evidence to support its worth spending the money on plazmaman. My GTR, 3.2 stroker, awd turbo 400, PTE 8285 all the goodies bla bla Chinese 120mm intercooler on 33psi was seeing IAT's of 100 plus degrees on single dyno pull, with the previous turbo being a PTE 7675 was seeing IAT's of 80 degrees. Fitted the Plazmaman Pro Series 100mm GTR intercooler, with no other changes it instantly saw 43psi obviously just from better flow. After some tuning at 38psi we are not seeing anymore than IAT's of 50 degrees after back to back dyno pulls.
  7. Thanks gents, no don't expect a 1100hp gtr to drive perfectly straight but seen some from NSW and Coota etc, even the JW one from QLD that thing is like an arrow Already run Quaife front diff, all front and rear arms and bushes are fairly new.

Hi All, Interested to hear some thoughts from people who have had experience in cutting down the call it torque steer or a gtr walking around all over the place under hard accel, watch plenty videos and seems some people get them to go arrow straight and others look like a serious hand full. Mine and a mates gtr are getting to the point its actually dangerous on full power to give it a real big hit, need like 4 lanes just to keep others safe Thinking possibly sway bar, shock dampening, tyre pressue

It turned out to be that it was running to lean in the lower rpm/ off boost area of the fuel map, we are still not sure why but 5% extra added in that part of the map and problem fixed, not sure if the Haltech had a spaz out or something is a miss, fuel pump and pressure fine, injectors fine, only thing I haven't checked is fuel filter but highly unlikely.
  10. Those AFR's I have quoted are not rich they are lean You are right thou possibly could be an air leak which I will have to double check but unlikely from what I remember when listening

Hi Gents, Just thought I would ask this question on here as its doing my head in, recently had the car tuned, got it back was perfect, month or so later car starts spluttering, hesitating, misfiring etc all in the low rpm/cruise, thought it was as simple as changing plugs, no So got new plugs, gapped them the same as the tuner had them, R35 coil packs are brand new from dyno tune, month or so old. Go for drive last night, its the same if not worse, spluttering, hesitating and popping, and one stage it nearly died, this all happens on light take-off or cruise, you can here the boost building but car isn't accelerating, if I keep my foot down once it finally climbs out of low rpm it clears up and comes good. Look at my Haltech dash in the low rpm range afr's are like 19,20,21,22, voltage reads fine at 14 My thoughts - maybe heat range on plugs to cold, currently are 8's? - coil pack faulty? they are like month old thou? - fuel pump starting to die, but then why would it be ok in higher rpm with boost? - injectors need cleaning? Given the AFR's im seeing something tells me the fuel isn't getting ignited? Any help would be great.

  13. I have just done a TH400 auto conversion using one of Al's Raceglides boxes from Sydney, couldn't be happier, has totally changed the car and is now a pleasure to drive more than ever.

  19. no worries thanks I have just fitted a TH400 conversions from Al's Raceglides in Sydney so doesn't matter now I have those coilovers as well, apparently no HKS no longer make them
