  5. is this the turbo that your refering too?? or similar. i have just purchased one with the .63 nissan housing on it but am yet to have it bolted up to see how it goes. it should be alright however for the moment im a lil sceptical about the 500hp rating on the turbo and obviously not gonna make that power on the .63 housing. having said that the reason i went for this turbo was that it was easy enough later off down the track to bolt on a .82 ex gate gt30 housing (funds wernt permitting when i purchased this turbo to eg gate setup.) and try for bigger power. http://www.horsepowerinabox.com/HPIAB2/prod18.htm this is the link for the same turbo on atp turbo http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/merchant...tegory_Code=GRT this is the turbo i have, its identical same antisurge comp cover and all, just the .63 nissan housing.

  7. hey guys i had the same problem. all i did was switch to an r32 GTR radiator (was brand new) and got rid of my condenser and flush mounted 2 12" thermos on the front of the radiator running constantly, also running the stock thermostat. looking into a vented bonnet now aswell to lose some of the under bonnet temp as at the moment i have the bonnet slightly raised at the back but after goin for a good thrash and lifting the bonnet its like a friggin sauna, like the heat gets trapped under there.

  9. hmmm very interesting, ive just had a .63 (ie nissan factory housing) grafted onto a gt3037 and it is due to arrive just after jamboree so should be interesting to see how it goes in comparison to these

  11. unfortunatly despite what you have been told, the noise you are wanting to hear IS compressor surge and even in its minimalist form causes damage to your turbocharger. unnecessary stress on the internal components of your turbo charger especially on the skyline turbos in not what you want and really defeats the purpose of blow off valve which is designed to rid the system of compressor surge and so on
  12. hi guys just looking to get rid of my Hi Mount 321 stainless T3 flange exhaust manifold. purchased it of these forums not to long ago. details as below... item. Hi Mount 321 stainless T3 flange exhaust manifold (321 stainless steel) condition. NEW to suit. RB20 / RB25 running T3 flange turbo and external gate reason for selling. went in a different direction and went a garrett GT3037 with an internal gate and set it up low mount price $220 offers?? located in Townsville QLD and willing to frieght at buyers expence
  13. i too would be interested to know it they fit in the stock location with the stock manifold running the nissan .63 ex housing. would there be clearence issues with the comp housing and the manifold?
  14. well first need to know how many k's on the engine to know what type to recommend. also is it just fresh from a rebuild (ie. 0k's on rings) though consittering a skyline should take approx 4.3L when fully flushed and then sorta work out the aprox capacity of the lines and cooler and addem together obviously. but id say if you bank on needing about 5-5.5L should be safe,
