well i went to the mechanics yesterday and found out it was the front bearing in the gearbox that was making all the noise. my options are to rebuild it or get a secondhand 1??? which is the best option, and if i was to go the secondhand option how much would one cost???

do a search on clutches on here, mite cum up with sumthing. post a link in here if u find anything.

Hmm.... not really what i needed to hear but it makes sense. i have to do the 100k service too. how much is a timing belt service usually cost?? (ballpark figure) has any1 done 1 lately?? also what do i need to replace when doing it just so i know when they tell me what there doing so i dont get ripped off?? timing belt,gearbox and diff oil,all belts???etc etc. only been back at work 2 weeks not a good time of year for this to happen to me. thats how it goes i suppose.

yeah sweet. oh well, its too crazy for me! not into all that loud stuff. i would rather go to a concert of just a couple of bands. tickets are expensive too,especially when u could just watch from outside! but u dont get the atmosphere i suppose. wasnt really any bands i was that keen on going to see anyway. thanxs for the post pred. ure a champ.

hi all, i have a problem with a noise coming from my clutch in my r33 gtst 95 manual. when i engage the clutch the noise goes away but when i release the clutch in neutralthere is a rattling sound , it sounds like a bearing to me, but i dont think it is the throw out bearing for the clutch bcoz if it was wouldnt it make a noise when u engage the clutch not when its disengaged?? someone told me it sounds like the front bearing in the gearbox?? could this be rite?? and if so what is a ruf estimate of what im goin to be up for $$$ wise. thanx in advance for any help given. 85URK.

my headnuit isnt a stock nissan 1, its an aftermarket japanese kenwood head unit, reasonably new aswell. just that it cant pick up any radio stations after 90.0 on fm frequency. the only thing i can lsten to is jjj and it sucks ass, or am radio. will this converter fix my problem or should i just get a new head unit that is australian spec??

hell yeah would be a help if we knew what they were rollin in. could save us some hassles.

so if i have a japanese kenwood head unit that only picks up fm to 90.0 and am radio this type of adapter will let me pick up fm radio??? and will it be on the normal channels on there?? like say b105 will be on 105.3?? bcoz i heard they are set up to get u the station but ten numbers down the line so b105 will be 90.5?? but this couldnt be right hey??

get on the m1 and turnoff at the yatala exit. heading north bound of course. its practically on the freeway. from what i remember. sum1 who lives down that way mite confirm this.

is your car the turbo model?? if you want an exhaust, the guys at caloundra exhausts are great guys, they will help you out with anything u want. if you want a custom made exhaust. and for an airpod filter just go to auto barn and get an adaptor plate and a k&n filter and go home and remove the standard airbox , hook the adapter plate to the air flow sensor box (the little black box before your standard airfilter box) and then fit your airpod to that. too easy! anyway mite see you round town. if ya see me round giv us a wave.

yeah c how it goes. the weather is supposed to be shite till thursdy. i got the day off 2dy actually bcoz of rain. and if it keeps up maybe 2moro. just have to wait and c. i never know whats happening with my work, only garanteed day off is sunday.

oh yeah, we raced him in my mates starlet when quinton was driving it and we kept up with it. then it got rolled or sumthing agaes ago. oh well, my mate said he saw nathan driving a orange wrx wagon when he was on the way beck from the goldy. maybe he borrowed it?? or maybe it wasnt even him just sum1 who looked like him anyway, what are ya doing in noosa and when?? i work mon-fri 7am - 4.30pm and some saturdys till 12. i take it you were going to work on sunday when i seen you out. we just stayed on tha hill for most of the day and had a chat.
