THose warranty's are for the customer that has had a qualified mechanic fit them and vehicle used in STD form with no alterations all original reciets for the belt and the mechanic with a buisness letterheadETC ETC,try getting waranty on a belt if you arnt in that crietera

Well if you cant find a GTR i can sell you my GTT the car is stock original except for mags and stereo head unit and with the rest of your money put into the engine you would have a nice fast car,this car is in very good condition.

Hi guys just some info about timing belts don't be thinking that your timing belt will do 100,000 ks from a new install, maybe the nissan factory belt will at a granny pace but after market belts are only warrented to 40,000 or50,000 or 60,000 ks just depends on the manufactuter read the fine print or go to there web site and find it....Remember a timing belt replacement is better than a topend rebuild or a major blow up>>>>>>>>>

HI Scott thanks for the reply,this car was owned by my son he treated it very nicely and only put rims and a head unit in it so it is all STD i drove it about 1 year ago and the HICAS worked fine but he said that the last couple of months he could feel it doing strange things,I have just swaped it for a ve commy as he is about to have a family,when i drove it home 700 ks i drove over some rough road and since that the back end wants to steer itself VERY SCARY.I have been under the car and all the suspension seems ok other than the pass side back strut which has a very small weep this has been there for awhile.I am a mechanic and have been for 35 years so I know what to look for but would like a workshop manual for this thing,love my nissans,not sure if you know what a 240k yes a 240k not a z is, but in my younger day i owned a 4 door version i had a l2.8 in it nizmo race cam high compression big valves 3 inch exhaust 650 holley double pumper and so on,, very wild in the day this car used to stay up with the v8s it was a 12 second car, but now im limited to my patrol until i got the r34.

newbie Hi all just purchased a 1999 R34 GTT 2door all stock it has a HICAS problem who knows where i can buy a factory workshop manual for it thanks.
