I am going to buy a R33 upright, then will buy a set of those Z1 350Z to 370Z dog bones and see how much I need to mill off the dogbone to allow the Akebono caliper to fit on. Another option is to space out the dogbone, which might require more work.
I am not sure how thick the R34 GT-t upright caliper mounting tabs are, as this will influence how everything sits. The caliper essentially needs to sit at the same height as the original calipers.
(not my photo)
HFM are currently working on a set of adapters for the 34. im sure some for 32's and 33's will be around the corner

come on then, show us photos!

nice to see a decent bit of effort going into this, have you decided what colour you are going with? or is it a suprise?

brakes look great, i have a similar sized setup on the same wheels (HFM dogbone adapters and 324mm rotors) love how it pretty much fills the whole wheel!

It's visible in the bloody quote you made of my post containing it. If you cannot configure your web browser to use the internet properly, then that's a whole other problem.

Which one? BA, BF or FG
BA BF = $100 for a long
FG = $150 for a long motor
My mate at work is constantly bending my ear in all things Barra
Not bad for a base that is so capable and easy to build for small change
yeah its ridiculous how cheap they are. and you can get silly power from a stock block

how much are greentop barra's these days? 😆

absolutely love the CS Sportsters. do they drop in easily? plenty of clearance from side of seat to door etc?

In your initial post you stated that gauge drops to 0 after 3000 RPM. Are you referring to the fuel level dropping?
That was @Hondakid90
i did about 30-40k's this weekend but fuel tank still has some in, hoping to do a bit more driving this weekend and fully empty my tank. voltaghe is still bouncing between 0.0 and 0.6v at the moment.

And when I say my voltage is erratic this is me sitting in my garage at idle.
Wondering if one of them Haltech fuel conditioners will sort that out, or whether it’s an issue with wiring (have a relay running a thicker wire all the way to the fuel pump).

Checking in on this. Got my IC7 fully replacing my stock dash. Emailed Haltech but they arnt getting me an answer I need. 93 R32 GTR Green/Blue wire in AVI 18. Red/Black grounded into 30 on the IC7 also spliced with ground from body so it's not so erratic for signal. 2 issues. 1st is when the cars not started the Voltage reads about 0.01 full and 0.29 empty. When car is on its changes to 0.19 full and 0.54 empty? Also any time I go over 3000 rpms ( doesn't matter which gear or speed ) voltages jumps .20 so gauge then drops to empty??
hey mate,
im currently working on this now, i've set up a fuel level voltage so i can see the volts live (currently bouncing around 0.2 to 0.6 volts its very erratic) and im going to drive it till my car literally runs out of fuel. i have 2 jerry cans of e85 in the boot.
once empy will take a photo of voltage.
then i'll pour 5 litres in and take another photo (this will become my 0 litre value)
then i'll brim it and take a photo of voltage again.
This means i dont have to take anything out the fuel tank and my readings should be pretty accurate.
Will update this thread once i get my readings.
I barely use the car so it takes a while to empty a tank but i should only have about 5-10 litres left in it at the moment.

Bmw shifter $345.50
HPR $3504.33
Cooler $732.31
TCU $2430+$328.51
Gearbox $3650Remember import duty and shit on everything from overseas. HPR stuff included adapter/flexplate bolts, output shaft, mekatronics board and cover, billet AN adapter, HPR crossmember and mount. I also got the billet sump thrown in as well.
thats really not a bad price at all, especially as you can spread the purchasing costs over a few items (rather than a big lump sum cost)

So far I've been eyeing the speedtek 3.33 final drive that seems to be perfect for my application (High HP, R200 & CD009) but have not looked into it in detail yet.
I'm planning on working on the rear end (Anti squat, diff, axles, etc.) once the engine bay and all rewiring is wrapped up.
Nice, didnt realise someone had released a gearset, was always wondering what people ran with the CD009.
Gonna be a really nice build this!

Just waiting on my serial nine shifter to arrive but I mock installed the CD009 and it seems to fit great. I'll write a DIY once I'm done. With my XClutch twin disk, I required a 32mm bearing carrier as opposed to the 42mm one Collins supplies.
Fun facts, I'll give the transmission a shake test once it's back in but so far I see no need to massage the trans tunnel... it fits. Tight but fits. If you use the adapter flywheel as apposed to milling the bellhousing I have a feeling it wouldn't fit as easily though.
The Collins adapter plate worked better then I thought it would but their after sales support is absolute garbage and I refuse to ever purchase another one of their products.what ratio are you going with for the rear diff?

it even comes in MP1 😆

I think it will apply to most of us on this forum 🥲
We are all not normal.
I do like the look of the new M3 Touring that is coming out though. 375kw with space for your dog and groceries in the back.
wonder if there is a way to stick an older front end on it though rather than the coke snorter grilles.
Might have to take one for a test drive, and if it really is that good then the skyline “may” go…

Yeah I think I’m going to keep it now, even if it barely gets used I’ll regret it the second I sell it

Been a while since the last update, nothing drastic has changed, i have however added a few more chinese carbon goodies.
Gurney flap is the first one:-
And then a carbon grille for the front:-
House is nearing completion, then i'll hopefully be spending some money on engine, driveline and suspension upgrades!

I will contact that boost international guy, seems to have a plate for a GFB boost controller and 52mm gauges.
assuming r32 and r33 ashtrays are the same, if you provide dimensions of the can pad i could draw up and print something for you.

Hey, no need to pull the hanger out. You can see the voltage on the ic7. I'll empty tank, note voltage. Fill tank, note voltage and then scale accordingly.
Cheers!
cool, will still be interested in what values you get too though :)

will just have to scale my fuel level at a later date.
if you are taking your pump out to measure voltage i'll be keen to know what values you end up putting in the IC7. i havent got round to pulling my pump out yet so my fuel guage is always around 40% ha

definitely interested in following this gearbox conversion!
