  1. As i mentioned the RB74 pads were used in different conditions and on a different vehicle which definitely would have influenced the result. In that case they (RB74) were being used for very aggressive street driving vs track which i have no doubt would make a world of difference. I am surprised that they're basically the same pad as the A1RM because i honestly did like the RB74's a lot! Regarding my experience with the A1RM pads i used them in the morning sessions then the ultimates in the afternoon, very similar conditions. The A1RM pads were definitely bedded in well, in contrast the Ultimates weren't bedded in almost at all (bar pretty much the warmup lap). As i said not trying to rock the boat as there are plenty of very happy people out there, just sharing my experience. I gues like anything its entirely possible i got a 1 off bad pad as can happen with anything. Now i think of it, maybe i just have bad luck with pads! Years ago i had a set of brand new ferodo pads (cant remember exactly what) where the bonding material failed on a pad during moderate road use leading to the pad disintegrating, nearly needed a new pair of underpants! Bedded in as per instructions, needless to say repco and ferodo were very apologetic!
  2. Pads i've used on my old r32 gtr (non brembo): Bendix Ultimate: Used on the track (mallala) only as a last resort after other pad failure. Reasonable pad wear, half a day of racing left more than half the pad left (around 30 laps) however after 4 or 5 hard laps fade definitely starts to creep in, Good solid bite and pedal feel but definitely need to get heavy on that brake pedal from high speed after a few laps. Overall very happy with them for a entry level pad, noisy after track work though. QFM A1RM: Used on the track (mallala) unfortunately these pads only lasted half a day before they failed. Somehow managed to wear them to nearly the backing plates in far less than half the time ultimates last. Pedal feel is good early as is power however i felt they lacked bite and faded much quicker and suddenly than ultimates + they gave me a surprise when they rapidly faded from high speed sending me to the kitty litter. Pedal effort required was also higher than the ultimates. Hate to rock the boat as everybody seems to love them but i wouldn't go near them again (though its entirely possible i got a bad set) Pads used on my old GTI-R Standard Nissan: Street use only, Quiet, smooth and stop well untill pushed hard. I guess its to be expected! EBC Green: Street use only, Not bad more fade resistant than standard nissan pads but lack bite, not a fan. Race Brakes RB74: Street use only. Loved them, bit harsh on rotors but even when they were glowing pedal feel was always fantastic and i never managed to get them to fade. Pads lasted an above average time however rotors definitely payed the price here. Bite from dead cold not great but a couple stops and your good to go. Dust was pretty bad too
  3. Sorry guys these are now sold pending final payment!
  4. Bugger it, i'm off o/s in just under 2 weeks. $600, first in best dressed

  6. For sale is the rights to the number plates " GTR 035 " These plates have not been allocated to a vehicle as yet thus when you allocate them you'll get brand new plates. They are slimline Front and Rear, silver characters on a black background. I'm only considering selling them since i am off to europe in 2 months so could use the spare $$ but I'm in NO rush to sell them as if they dont sell i'll happily keep them for later down the track Asking $3k Cheers, Robert
  7. Bump - Make me an offer, i'm pretty motivated to sell.
  8. Price Drop, 17.5k, looking for a quick sale
  9. Had a bit of interest, but need it gone asap. $1000 without the loom, $1250 with it.
  10. For sale is my old RB26DETT. I was going to strip it and started to but have run out of time and patience to do so. As such its for sale whole. Most of its there minus rocker covers, alternator, fuel injectors, aac valve and a few other little bit but for the most part its all there. Also comes with full r32 gtr loom (which i'm lead to believe are worth a few $$ by themselves) Cam gears and harmonic balance are not pictured but are included Not willing to split at this stage as i dont have time to. Motor condition was average with low compression in the 130's accross all cylinders and a light rattle suspected to be the gudgeon pin. Oil on last change was clear of metal particles thus why bottom end wasn't suspected. However buyer to assume rebuild is required. Looking for $1500 inc loom or $1200 without. Please forgive the poor photos, shed's a mess but its all there! Pickup only please Contact Robert - 0423128994 Cheers, Rob
  11. For sale are what were my track rims. As the title states they're 3 piece ssr evoloutions in stud pattern to suit a GTR 114.3 and 17x9 +18 offset Two have Good condition Dunlop 265/40/17 Formula R semi slicks Two have Poor condition Dunlop 255/40/17 Direzza 03G semi slicks All rims have some gutter rash but are in overall good condition. One is missing a centre cap although i'm sure its around the shed somewhere but for the purpose of the sale consider it MIA at the moment and not included. Chasing $1200, prefer to sell to Adelaide buyer as postage can be a pita. Contact Robert - 0423128994 Cheers, Rob
  12. Also has SA Rego till March and passed regency last week for a full roadworthy as was previously on NSW rego and did not have a compliance sticker so its completely legal in SA.
  13. Up for sale is my 1990 R32 GTR. Since owning this car a great deal of time effort and money has been spent to bring it up to standard and it now represents an outstanding car. It has been built with the intention of being solidly capable of track use however this does not compromise its street ability. Only quality parts have been used and I deeply regret having to sell it however i shall be relocating overseas from March and it must go. The Good: Freshly imported RB26DETT w/165-170+psi accross all cylinders Braided -8 Oil Drain from Head to Sump & speedflow fittings GTR R33 Rebuilt N1 Turbos w/ < 1000km on them OBX Stainless 3" Split Dump Pipes 10 Month old Dry cell in the Boot Trust Oil cooler and Relocation Kit ARC front mount intercooler HKS Boost Controller Greddy Turbo Timer Rebuilt Gearbox ~ 8000km ago Exedy Twin Plate Clutch ~ 8000km ago JJR Cam Gears and Gates Timing Belt < 1000km New Genuine Nissan water pump < 1000km New Genuine Nisasn Idler Pullies < 1000km New Genuine Nissan Drivers Seatbelt Rebuilt Front Driveshafts < 1000km ADR Approved Stainless Brake Lines < 50km New RDA Slotted Rotors all round < 200km Bendix Ultimate front pads QFM A1RM rear pads 3.5" HKS Super Dragger Cat Back New Mid Muffler < 1000km ago Std R32 wheels ex cond with New Kumho KU31 Rubber < 300km Adjustable Castor Rods Koni Coilovers Cusco 3point Front and Rear Strut Braces New Tailshaft Bearing < 50km Polyurethane Diff Mounts < 1000km Solid Alloy Pineapples in rear Subframe New Front Steering Tie Rod Ends New Rear Passenger Inner Tie Rod New FR upper control arm bushes Rockford Fosgate Mp3 CD player No Rips or Tears in the Interior Remapped ECU by Garage Saraus, checked on the dyno and running a conservative and safe tune at 1bar. The Bad: Clearcoat is pealing on passenger door Soild Alloy Subframe Pineapples transfer a fair amount of NVH Dash oil pressure gauge is playing up but an aftermarket one is supplied Bonnet has some very light hail damage. I have personal records of everything that has been spent recently on this car which in parts total close to $15k not including my time or labour where relevant. Many photos are available of the work done to the car as are the dyno sheets. Compliance paperwork, and regency compliance paperwork is all intact and presentable for the new owner. Recently made 256RWKW @ 1 Bar on John Keen's Dyno Dynamics Dyno and has been to Mallala 3x times with laptimes consistently around 1.24 running conservative boost and the old brake setup. Will easily be capable of Low or Sub 1.20 with fresh rubber and the right driver. Also have that may be sold additional to the car: 17x9 5 spoke, 3 piece SSR Evoloutions with Dunlop Semi slicks $1200 Spare RB26DETT (most bits there, low compression though) $1200 Whole A thousand other bits, clutch, 4x turbos, new adjustable front camber arms and the list goes on. 14. Hey guys sorry for the really slow or non-existant replies. I've been slammed with work and thus havent been able to get around to pulling the motor apart at all lately so so far its only anciliaries that i've gotten stripped. Please send e-mails to my mailing address and i'll try and reply asap, just replied to a bunch then. Also e-mails are better as with P.M's i can only reply to 1 every half hour thus it makes replying to them painfully slow and i neglect to reply to some sometimes. Regards, Robert
  15. Definitely keen! Once i find out camber details im definitely in! My r32 front camber is all over the shop! Cheers, Robert
  16. Hey mate, Also hoping to make #49 Need to get a set of Front and Rear slotted rotors for a R32 GTR non Brembo. Also need prices on a set of EBC Yellowstuffs for the front and EBC Redstuffs for the rear. Cheers Mate!
  17. Dont bother with them, Bought one for a mates GTI-R and it fit ... after a mammoth struggle to get it in there. Bought one for my gtr and didnt come close to fitting, bottom tanks just massivly too thick either that or the bottom mounts are way off. Tried to fit it into mates r31 with more room than mine and also didnt fit. Since i bought it 3 months ago and it now has a slightly dinged up core from trying to make it fit i've just given up on it and written it off, doubt its worth contacting them as i dare say they wouldnt be interested in returning it / exchanging it. ASI = fail
