Mean bro, imagine how 300 atw would feel 🥶

To go much more I’ll need a different turbo. So the cost increases as I’ll change the exhaust manifold as well and probably go drive by wire but it’s actually plenty to get a not trouble with as with the auto you are always on it so there is no down time between gears

Here's a dyno overlay of a GTX3076R Gen2 with .83a/r hotside overlayed with a G30-770 with .83a/r hot side on petrol at the same boost level.  This is on a stock RB25, so more a comparison of how it goes psi for psi within the GTX3076R's limit versus outright potential - which is worth noting that the G30-770 with .83a/r hotside is on paper very similar flow wise on both hot and cold side to an EFR8374 with 1.05a/r hotside:

Any idea who’s Stagea this is and if it was RW or AW hp?

I have just had a built box from MV fitted with a full manual valve body and it is fantastic.

What stage box are you gonna be looking at building with them because my old trans is still sitting there at MV waiting to be shipped back to me and it's already got a stage 2 shift kit, all new solenoid banks that are about 5000 ks old, with a new set of clutches for 1st-2nd gear and bands fitted about 1000klms before being pulled out and swapped for the manualised one I got them to build me, so if you were interested at all I'd be looking to sell it for a lot cheaper than it'd cost to get all that stuff done.

Shoot me a message if interested RBWGN

Because the ecu controls everything I don’t need the manual valve body. So it will be essentially the same box as yours but with a different valve body to also allow auto shifting and shifting from the steering wheel.

How much kw did u end up making? How’s the haltech feel with the transmission?

Not enough needs a bigger turbo and maybe 700cc more as well 260kw at all 4. It feels faster than that so I can only assume it looses a bit through the trans an AWD. The Haltech feels like an ECU. But the transmission is great. Shifts nice and hard. Also has torque reduction on shifts to help preserve the box/flexplate. I am getting a complete MV automatics rebuilt trans and flexplate.

    Thanks guys,

not sure why I have not checked other suppliers, Golebys are few hundreds cheaper as well 😊. I am hoping to keep low mount stock manifold and not sure if its possible to get t3 to V band adapter and still fit g30 in or do I need to cut T3 and weld v band. If i am welding then might go with external gate as well. I was after g30-770, it looks like g25-660 is good for around 300rwkw if I read compression maps correctly. I was hoping to get closer to 350-400rwkw. Ive checked sizes of g30 and gtx3076, they are pretty much identical. So hope g30 with adaptor will fit. Do you think $1000-1200 will be enough to modify manifold and make v band dump pipe? Have not been to any metal fabricators, so no idea how they price things.
@dose at the moment I am considering new cams, will let you know as soon as Engine package is finalised.

P.s looks like i will have to stay with stock wheels for few months if Im going G turbo 😞

If you still need a fabricator Gavin @ garage48 in Hornsby is great and reasonably priced. He also does powder coating if needed.

What set up is that looks good

T67 style turbo on a China 🇨🇳 manifold that I got with the car @Garage48 in Hornsby modded it to fit an external gate turbosmart 45 mm (he did a great job highly recommended) he made a complete exhaust from the turbo back 3-1/2 inch with a cat and 2 mufflers. Plazmaman fuel rail intercooler and upper plenum. Bosch 1050cc injectors and a Haltech Elite 2500 it controls the Engine and Transmission it’s auto. That’s about it I think

What is wrong with the idea of taking it apart yourself and looking at it yourself and working out why it might be leaking there?

Because not everyone knows how to do things or has the tools to do it. He was just asking for help. Smile and be happy

Retrieved a flat head and turns out the clamps were lose asf. Tightened them and tested no leak. So either clamps loosened over time or my last mechanic didn’t tighten them enough when chucking in my split fires. I’m thinking they couldn’t have left it loose lol. But taking it for a boost tonight and will check if the clamps loosen.

Yep I would have said that had I noticed that you asked sorry I didn’t get back to you

Okay fair enough. I’m in nz so I’ll have to see someone here.

Adam may be able to set one up and send it to you. As far as I know it hadn’t been done before

How are you running haltech on an auto box tho? It says in the description, for manual transmission only? You running haltech elite ?

Yes I’m running the elite and yes it controls the auto. The manual is basically a straight plug in but the auto needs some wiring mods to make it happen. As I said it’s best to speak to Adam from JEM as he made this work

So then that would be my best bet is to upgrade the ecu.. but would I have to get it tuned for it to run like yours? Also is haltech easy to put in the series 2?

Also my car has a larger turbo, intercooler, injectors and exhaust so tuning was required

Best bet would be to speak to Adam at JEM as he did the install and tune for it as far as I know it was the first AWD auto for a Nissan that he had done.

Yours shifts smoothly tbh is that in manual mode or auto? .. what specs is your car?

It’s in auto mode that was with only moderate throttle opening. It has a shift kit in it as well as a Haltech 2500 replacing the factory ECU so it controls the engine and all of the auto trans functions including shifting and line pressure. It does shift much harder on full throttle and it utilises torque reduction to preserve the gearbox. I will be getting a fully rebuilt gearbox soon so it can handle a bit more.
